- Delete The source of the file is a file that has been downloaded and worked on SVG files shared with commons.
It's not a file downloaded from above, and I think it's hard to apply.
It's a PD file and a file you worked on.
I'd like to tell you that I just edited the color and that I didn't work on and upload the file on the copyright website that I own.

- Comment. I find it very unlikely that the specific CC-BY-NC-ND license applies to this image. More likely it is either still owned by the studio (and will enter the public domain in a few years) or is already in the public domain from registration or renewal issues (as is true for many old films of this era). Likely license laundering. Low resolution, no EXIF, and other photos on the account even have watermarks. There also aren't other photos on the account that depict this same cat. - Keep Sorry, but I don’t buy that Flickr has set the license “somehow” to Creative Commons. When I upload anything on Flickr it is very obvious which license will be used. Sometimes people first use Creative Commons licenses and later change their mind – this is possible on Flickr, of course, but we should not imitate that behaviour here, Creative Commons licenses cannot be revoked. Maybe it would make a difference if the uploader would request the deletion some days after the upload, but this photo has been imported from Flickr at 8 May 2020. Effectively a hoax, in use as result of a misunderstanding. This image is based off a photograph of a flag of the standard Arab Revolt flag: the pan-Arab colours with the white at the bottom. The only reason this image seems to have a yellow stripe is because of the bad quality of the light in the photograph. The dirty old flag white stripe has been misunderstood as yellow. This absolutely the opposite of COM:EDUSE and is therefore out of COM:SCOPE. We already have File:Flag of Hejaz 1917.svg, which is the actual flag. GPinkerton (talk) 17:32, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: The source given in the summary says: "It has horizontal stripes of black, green and white with a red triangle on the hoist side; these are the four Pan-Arab colours." Nevertheless, another source saying the lower stripe is white and not yellow would be appreciated.
- Moreover, @GPinkerton: since the image is in use in other projects, COM:INUSE makes the image automatically educational. You need to remove it from the other projects before it can be deleted. LCCN2017658712.jpg and File:030Arab.jpg are both in use. There is not the slightest hint anywhere of a yellow stripe. Apart from all of this, one can simply look at the dozens of modern flags descended from the original throughout the Arab world; not one of them has any yellow on it and that's no accident! - @GPinkerton: The only image where the historical flag has a lower white stripe is this one. Other images are either modern flags, are in black and white, or have a yellow colour (the flags in the Royal collection and in Canberra). Deducing how a flag looked wack in the days, by looking at its contemporary variants is not a proper way to proceed.

- I have asked you for some sources, and have provided some of mine. Currently, all written sources say the lower colour is white. - 1 modern photograph of a modern flag whose enormous size commemorates the raising of this very flag in that very region during WWI.

Hello! I unfortunately have no idea, how to use Wikipedia... I just posted this foto like an example for the text. It's not a promo of opera or any other type of commercial activity. Rightholder, Fiore Casarano, permits me to use this images in the official page of this opera on Wikipedia. Also, like a worker in this perfomance, i have all the rights on the foto, shooted in the theaterm it's in my contract. So I have all the rights to use them. Please, help me to understand, what should i do, instead of delete anything.

I found a higher resolution version and it does indeed have a copyright notice. Similarly, File:Soon Sheet Music.jpg is not actually a poster. - I am doubtful, quite frankly, that this was drawn by the uploader. It was clearly not hand drawn, but if it was drawn on a computer by the uploader, why did they print it out, scan it, and upload it? It also seems odd to me that the OFSAA would use a map that they did not create (surely they would have had to make one before anyone else). Of course, if this is a map OFSAA made, it also begs the question of why they would be using a scan of a printout rather than the original. Mysterymanblue 07:26, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
- True, it probably wasn't fair to suggest OFSAA definitely didn't make it, though I have personal experience with organizations claiming freely-licensed material as their own, and this map was labeled public domain meaning no credit was necessary. I contested the speedy deletion because the image was uploaded here so long ago and deserved a more in-depth analysis before deletion. Anyways, it doesn't appear on the OFSAA About page until around September 2020. Prior to that, the region map link led to this map instead. The copy they're using is also lower resolution than the one we have, so I don't think their website is the origin. However, it could be a physical printout from OFSAA that the original uploader scanned and claimed as their own creation (there seems to be some faint text bleeding through from the back). It probably wouldn't actually be too difficult for someone at Commons:Graphic Lab/Map workshop to create an unambiguously free replacement with the maps we have on Commons (like File:Canada Ontario location map.svg or File:Canada Southern Ontario location map.png, for example), since I'm sure the region borders and names aren't copyrightable information. clpo13(talk) 19:11, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

- This means like follows.
- Documents managed by the State, Reports on current news or Notification material shall not be the object of copyright unless these documents pursues commercial purpose[1].
- Now, As you know, the subject of "commercial purpse" is the (authers of) documents[2], not users of the documents.

- That the article talks about commercial intentions of the authors of works, not of re-users, is how I've always read it as well. This makes the most sense since it appears in the chapter of the law that defines the objects of copyright, i.e. if a given work is protectable in the first place (Chapter 2).
