Duplicate of the featured picture File:Lange-MigrantMother02.jpg. – Adrignola talk 17:28, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Keep This is not a duplicate but a separate (5-hour) restoration of the iconic picture. I argue it is superior to the featured version because of 1. file size, 2. focus on detail ("dust & scratches" is a very crude restoration tool), and 3. restoration process documented in the file history. But then again, I'm the uploader, so other opinions are solicited. ~ trialsanderrors (talk) 17:51, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

The en:wiki uploader was User:Mough, a well known copyvio uploader on en:wiki. No source, being hosted on a US Government website does not necessarily mean that the copyright is owned by the US Gov and therefore there is no guarantee, and no way of verifying, that this image is PD. I just handled an OTRS ticket about a file on enwiki copied from another US Gov website by the same uploader, to which the copyright was owned by a third party. No evidence author is who he says he is - image looks suspicious to me, it's web resolution, watermarked and lacks metadata, whilst looking like a promotional photo. -mattbuck (Talk) 21:55, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Delete - per nom. No proof that the uploader is the copyright holder of the image. Lacking OTRS confirmation and given the -indeed- promotional interest of the photo I'm inclined to get that file deleted per COM:L and COM:PS. --Marco Aurelio (disputatio) 09:52, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

Out of scope. Should be converted into a wikitable. Leyo 13:56, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- The one use at w:pt:Hiperconjugação needs to be replaced with a wikitable first, then this image can be deleted. ChemNerd (talk) 12:06, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- It would be good if the uploader could do this. --Leyo 16:40, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Delete as copyvio (scanned from hardcopy or cut'n'pasted from electronic version of Org. Lett., 2006, 8 (26), pp 5923–5925 doi:10.1021/ol062293s. Layout and font artifacts are identical, unlikely to be editor's own retyping and exporting as a graphics image. Uploader's other uploaded file is also lifted from same source (tagged as such). Can't copyright data (so could retype it manually and create a wiki-standard table layout) but this here is lazy copyvio since the full recounting of the actual data doesn't even add much to article where it's used (vs prose discussion of it). Photo of a painting. No indication that the painting is released under a free license. Quadell (talk) 20:05, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Keep After I nominated this, I see that the uploader account is the same as the name of the artist. So maybe it is released under a free license after all. If so, I apologize. Quadell (talk) 20:08, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- That's right. Do I need to change the license now? , thanks A salute. Limbo Páramo. 17:45, 28:08:2011
- No, but the more information you can give about the painting, the better. Quadell (talk) 17:29, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

The crest includes the Imperial crown, incorrect image, incorrect name Sodacan (talk) 04:06, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Kept: name can be fixed using {{Rename}} Jcb (talk) 11:18, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- The file will still be an incorrect image. With no use, no meaning and no value whatsoever. The Royal crest of the UK (English version) is hardly ever used on its own anyway, the lion alone is even more incorrect. Sodacan (talk) 10:18, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Kept: duplication of what? Jcb (talk) 11:20, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- A duplication of an existing larger image of the full Coat of Arms, which was drawn entirely by me. This is just a cut and paste singling out just one part of it. Furthermore it has very little value of its own, as it represents nothing, and is unlikely to be used in any existing article on Wikipedia. There is no need for this kind of random cluster of parts of an svg- otherwise where is it going to end? Sodacan (talk) 10:54, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

- One can get nuclei into excited states, but that is typically done by collisions with other particles. Exciting nuclei by inductive heating does not make sense to me. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 23:29, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
