"Historical images of Bulgaria" serves no purpose as a category and is not currently used. Category:History of Bulgaria is probably 99.99% images (or even 100% - i don't see any audio, video) which means that 99.9% of it should also be in Category:Historical images of Bulgaria. There is no valid source stated for this image: When i go to http://www.eucom.mil i cannot see this image. If this would be okay, i could upload any photo from some person that hasn't released it under a Commons-compatible licence and give such imprecise sources like http://www.eucom.mil and everybody believes me here? And where is the information from that it was shot by a US-NAVY employee? Fellows, there are two possibilities now: Delete this image or the guy that uploaded it tells where he found it with the information that "Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jeremy Wood" photographed it. 93.211.75.218 11:48, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

- Comment - This is a kind of irredentist ultra-Japanese-nationalist map about the Liancourt Rocks. Whether this image should be kept or deleted depends on whether it has any factual or educational value, or is pure extremist Japanese nationalist propaganda... Delete WP is not a place for original propaganda. There are some propaganda media files in Commons because those media files where published elsewhere and this is exactly what makes them interesting. Unless you prove this image has been previously published somewhere notable (for example, a pro-Japanese site with a good audience), this image must disappear from Commons as it falls either under "Self-created artwork without obvious educational use" or under "Files apparently created and/or uploaded for the purpose of attack", from COM:PS — Xavier, 14:17, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Obviously bogus licenses because unloader claim copyright over 1933-1939 German postcards. Maybe photos are {{PD-old}}, but with given information it is impossible to determine such fact --Justass (talk) 23:14, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- KeepThese postcards are for more than 70 years ago. I have a collection of postcards which I have legally bought all of them and I am the owner now and I took pictures of them. The postcards are published sometime before 1939 and after 1933 in Germany, probably by the German government.Take it easy dude (talk) 23:26, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - Owning some prints does not give you the right to re-publish and re-license those images. For wartime photographs, it is quite likely that the photographer has died less than 70 years ago, which means they are still copyrighted by the author or his heirs. If you want to claim them government works, then you need to present positive proof, not just gesswork. --Latebird (talk) 23:37, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
- Keep with {{PD-EU-no author disclosure}}; uploader has the postcard but does not know the author (see here); User:Take it easy dude could upload the backside of these postcards on the same filename, and then revert; this way it would all be documented. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 09:45, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- Comment see here Category:Heinrich Hoffmann why you have to upload the reverses. And please add some descpritions to the few files (where? when?), which might be kept. 78.55.18.129 11:04, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
All deleted, without the reverse of the postcards, {{Anonymous-EU}} cannot be checked. Kameraad Pjotr 18:06, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Work an artist dead in 1983 so it cannot be put under license GFDL --Duch.seb (talk) 23:10, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- Comment Why not (if uploader owns the copyright)? /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 23:17, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ok but we need to be sure that this is the case. We need an OTRS. Duch.seb (talk) 12:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
