Yann for checkuser

I am nominating Yann for CheckUser. CheckUsers are users who can access private information in order to reveal sockpuppets and fight vandalism. See m:CheckUser.

Yann (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log) block user is currently a steward and an administrator here. More important he is very active in upload patrolling. This makes him the ideal user to quickly find patterns in uploading that could be caused by sockpuppeting.

According to the Wikimedia CheckUser policy, we should at least have 2 CheckUsers if we want to have local CheckUsers. We actually do have four of them; they seem however to have all vanished. -- Bryan (talk to me) 21:32, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Support with a degree of hesitation. I am sure that Yann will not misuse the tools. However, I'm concerned that he is a little over-zealous at times with deletions as his talkpage evidences.
