I am here since 2009, and from there to here, I grew very much, developed my edits too and it's been a long time I'm reviewer and I think that image with the tool sysop I can help more than the Commons today. Vitor Mazuco Msg 01:50, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

- Wait a little bit. Thank you for your interest to Wikimedia Commons and your reviewer work. As you can read on other candidatures, we like the administrators did a bit of maintenance tasks, especially in the DR field and demonstrate knowledge of Commons policies and guidelines. We'll then be able to know you better. --Dereckson (talk) 10:23, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

- Vitor, when you edited Commons:Administrators/Requests, there were
I N S T R U C T I O N S:<br /> Please announce it in the summary line like this: "add [[Commons:Administrators/Requests/foobar|RfA foobar]]"
- in a (
<!-- HTML comment -->
). This is Leyo referring to. Of course you should not list foobar but your page. Why? Because this page is on the watchlist of many users and it eases looking up the revision history. - What do most of the voters expect, why do they oppose? They want to see your paticipation in deletion discussions where you can show your knowledge of copyright. You may also look at the NewFiles, detecting copyright violations and tag them accordingly. There is a helper gadget (QuickDelete) in your preferences that prompts for the reason and then automatically adds the according tag to the page and notifies the uploader. If you are not sure you can ask the uploader before, use the file talk page or nominate for deletion.
- I believe that comments like "lack of experience" are rather counter-productive (because you have experience in special areas) and I hope that voters will use more specific reasons in future. Regards -- RE rillke questions? 10:37, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
- Ok Rillke, thanks so much for your commentation. I will to see is I have time to work in these areas, because my edits in concentrated in wiki-pt. Vitor Mazuco Msg 21:13, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi Vitor! It doesn't look like your request is going to pass this time. I'm going to repeat my advice from Commons talk:Flickr images/reviewers/archive 10#Vitor Mazuco, and I hope you take it into account if you want to try again at a later time: please be open about the problems in your initial participation on Commons (copyright violations and sockpuppets). It's not really fair to ask others to trust you with the responsibility of adminship without giving them all the relevant facts. And I do believe that those things are relevant to such a decision. Not as relevant as your later contributions, mind you, but relevant. When you fail to mention something like that, others are likely to wonder whether you'd own up to any mistakes you might make as an administrator, or whether you'd try to cover it up. We can't expect our administrators never to make bad decisions, but we should expect them to be upfront about their mistakes and to be able to explain what they've learned from them. —LX (talk, contribs) 20:07, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
