Hello. I'm a Polish language Wikimedian. A sysop on the Polish Wikipedia since 2008 and an active Commons user since 2006. I would like to be an administrator here to more quickly rename the files and delete the uploads worth a speedy deleting. My current work area are the music and Christian cathegories. Please, consider my candidature. Paterm (talk) 13:20, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- I quit. See you next decade, and sorry for this affair. --Paterm (talk) 19:55, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

- Oppose Participated in one DR since 2007. As I understand it, this user does not really need the tools. A "File mover request" would be a better adress. --High Contrast (talk) 14:23, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose As per High Contrast above and Rillke below, the file mover right can be requested. Perhaps participate more in DRs, and other "adminny" areas and then come back, but in the meantime I think the file mover right could be looked at. russavia (talk) 15:19, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - it's for me a bit less - why you want to becoma an Admin here? And - who are you? It's not to see for me, who you are and for what you stand. Marcus Cyron (talk) 17:59, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. --Rschen7754 18:56, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Comments
- I found only 6 contributions in the Commons namespace, excluding POTY and your RfA. Can you somehow prove that you read and understood Commons policies? -- Rillke(q?) 14:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Reading between the lines, I assume you want to use the file mover and deletion tool primarily for your own uploads, is this assumption correct? -- Rillke(q?) 14:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Did you know that you can request the file mover right on COM:RFR without the need for a community vote? -- Rillke(q?) 14:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) You have almost no contributions in the Commons namespace (only 1 comment in a deletion request), I also could not find user massages indicating that you requested any speedydeletions (according to the edit count you have only 0 deleted edits what would indicate that you did not successfully suggested any image for deletion, but I think the edit counte is wrong so I would like an admin to check for any successfull speedy deletion requests). Also one of your recent renaming requests have been denied, indicating that you are not familiar with the renaming guideline. Overall, it seems you don't have enough experience in the areas you want to use the admin tools. I advise you to withdraw your request. Please note that you can apply for the rights to rename images separately (Commons:Requests_for_rights#Filemover). --Isderion (talk) 14:24, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
