Dear community, I have the pleasure to nominate Ludo29 for adminiship.
Ludo has been active on the Wikimedia projects for more than six years, totalising 78K edits on 28 projects. He is active on the French-speaking Wikipedia, where he has been administrator for five years, and oversight for nearly two years. He is also an OTRS agent, involved in two chapters, and often answers to the Swiss press for Wikimedia-related questions.
Registered on Wikimedia Commons in 2006, Ludo currently holds an amazing edit-count of 13K. In the last five years, he has uploaded more than 1,000 pictures (see his gallery). Enriching Commons is a way of life for Ludovic − you may see for example the results in sports or travel. Ludovic also lent his photographic skills to major French chapter projects, as you can see here in Versailles or there in Toulouse. Apart from uploading photographs, Ludovic has done more than his fair share of categorisation, geocoding and general maintenance. Well-versed in licensing questions, he is well aware of issues like freedom of panorama or De minimis.
Ludovic has mentioned several times that the tools would be useful to him. Often available on IRC, users regularly ask him for help regarding copyvios, requests he currently has to decline: he has to ask other sysops to handle these copyvios, as well as the ones he spots himself (User:~Pyb can confirm ;-). The tools would also be useful to him in his general maintenance work. I am sure adding photographs will always be Ludovic’s priority on this project, but I have no doubt that he will be an asset in the admin pool. Overall, I believe Ludo has clearly shown that he can be trusted with the tools, as well as his involvement in the Wikimedia movement and his dedication to this project.
Thanks for considering this request. Jean-Fred (talk) 17:36, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

- weak pro Few relevant Commons and user talk contribs but in connection with your other experience it is fine. If you are active with OTRS stuff on Commons, please get the flag. Thanks for helping! --Saibo (Δ) 18:47, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

- Support. Not very active, but adminship is no big deal. Plenty of experience elsewhere, and I doubt that the user would break anything with the tools. Ajraddatz (talk) 04:02, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

- Support Almost 78,000 global edits, mostly on WP:FR and 14,000 here. Only 120 edits in Commons: namespace, which suggests a lack of experience, but in five years here, he or she has only 56 comments on the talk page -- including several for Quality Images. There was one group of deletions for FOP problems early on. This tells me that this is a colleague who must understand our rules pretty well and not make others angry, so I'll pass on the lack of Commons: namespace experience. Jim . . . . - thanks Jean-Fred for this proposal. If you accept to give me sysop-tools, I'll be happy to help the project. Ludo (talk) 18:07, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Neutral, on one hand I'm concerned about the lack of participation in DRs (just 2 for the past year), on the other hand he is a very experienced user and the tools are usefull for a member of the OTRS team. I have no urgent reasons to vote 'oppose', but for the first point I don't know yet if I will vote 'support' or remain neutral.
