Thank You for the Wikipedia Picture
[edit]Hello, My name is Duane Hurst and I recently made a free (non-commercial) English web site to share information with people. I added links to your Wikipedia/Wikimedia freeware picture. I also gave credit to you on my web pages for your work. Thank you for sharing with the public. My website is:
http://www.freeenglishsite.com/
I also am a "Mormon" and my web site has a Mormon section that contains my Book of Mormon map (pictures of actual locations), my translation of Egyptian hieroglyphs from the Book of Abraham, and other items. I have shared and discussed these with various LDS general authorities and given many fireside presentations about them in Japan, Thailand and USA. My web site sections about the USA and World also have LDS membership and temple information for each country.
I add pictures such as yours to one of the following major sections of my site: 1. World section - contains information and over 10,000 images of every world country and territory. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/world/index.htm
2. USA section - contains information and images of every USA state and territory. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/world/usa/index.htm
3. English section - "Mel and Wes" lessons in conversation format. Stories are located in various USA states and world countries such as China, England, Germany, Japan, Mexico and Thailand. Each lesson has many slang terms and idioms, which I link to my Slang Dictionary. This eventually will have over 5,000 terms. Currently, it has about 3,000 slang and idioms. I regularly add new lessons and slang terms. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/english/lessons/index.htm Slang Dictionary link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/english/slang/Eslang_a.htm
Prior to retirement, I taught English at several private and public universities in the United States.
Please share this free site with your friends. I hope all will enjoy the pictures and find the English information useful. Sincerely, Duane Hurst in Utah, USA

Categorization of users
[edit]Hello, WinterE229! I converted the categories on your user page into links because topic categories shouldn’t contain material from user-space; we have the Commons community hierarchy for that. Please see the relevant guideline at COM:USER.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your fine contributions; in the course of curating Edmonton- and Alberta-related images I’m finding your work a familiar sight, and most welcome.—Odysseus1479 (talk) 02:01, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

Rossdale Photo
[edit]Hello I'm not sure if you've seen the recent article around Edmonton and its Google display image:
http://nationalpost.com/business/local-business/0722-google/wcm/ca9f34be-174f-483e-a790-f191daec00d8
But I was wondering if it would be possible for you to remove, even temporarily, the photo of the Rossdale Power Plant. Right now Google is using it as the overall image for all of Edmonton and a lot of people, including myself, feel a more up-to-date and attractive photo would help with Edmonton's image, reputation and with tourism. Thanks for the help!
