File:Todor Petrov.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Thanks for uploading File:First General Assembly of World Macedonian Congress.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:First General Assembly of World Macedonian Congress.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Hi Wingsk, I have opened a checkuser case related to your account. Please feel free to comment. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 19:51, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you tell me what is the reason for your request for checkuser? In any way, you are free to try to find something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wingsk (talk • contribs) 21:07, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You have uploaded two apparent copyvios which appear to be related to a well-known socketpuppeteer. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 21:17, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am wondering why I am exactly suspected. Could you tell me who is that "well-known socketpuppeteer" and who is his username(s)?

About the pictures, the file:First General Assembly of World Macedonian Congress.jpg is a rare historical picture which is the only proof of the event, I can not find another one at internet. Simply, it can not be replaced.Wingsk (talk) 21:25, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wingsk, it does not matter how rare that picture is. If it is a copyright violation, it will be deleted. If you think that image is important you can try to contact the copyright holder and ask him if he/she is willing to release that picture under a free license (see COM:OTRS for the related process). Wikimedia Commons is an archive of free media, not a collection of pictures stolen from somewhere on the Internet.
These two uploads raised my suspicions. It may be very well the case that I was wrong in suspecting you. There is no doubt that we have one user here who has created a large number of accounts which is very disrupting. And anyone who appears to be related to this case is suspected. In the context of this case, there appears to be considerable pressure to upload copyvios depicting Igor Janev, Ratko Janev, and Todor Petrov. All of them appear to be related to Macedonia. A checkuser will now consider the evidence presented at that case and possibly the logs that are accessible by the checkusers, and then report his view. If you want to know more about this, you can take a look at Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/Operahome, Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/Todor Petrov and Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/Rumensz. I am not sure about wikipediacommons, about I think that I can upload a historical photo on wikipedia if it can not be replaced with anyone other. Todor Petrov is former candidate for president, he is very famous in Macedonia, of course that there will be several persons who will write about him. Wingsk (talk) 00:05, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
