Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Categorizzare correttamente (e altro ancora...)

[edit]

Ciao Vuvueffino.

Ti sarei molto grato. Fammi sapere. Salutoni e grazie in anticipo.

Grazie mille ancora! DenghiùComm (talk) 04:44, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Category discussion warning

Taken with Pentax SMC DA 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 ED AL has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. Firenze... categorie

[edit]

Grazie tante! --Sailko (talk) 20:39, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:02 2020 Grecia photo Paolo Villa FO190060 (Museo archeologico di Atene) Cratere dipinto con soldati NAMA 1426, senza gimp.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

Autopatrol given

[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. ~riley (talk) 05:05, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you!

Category:Town_rainbows has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

pdf of architectural orders

[edit]

Hi, nice work with the img of the architectural orders. Don't you think the listing of the sources within the image is a bit odd and too much. When I open it in the app, I can't even read it, the color is to bright and the resolution given doesn't give a clear reading (although on Commons the full resolution is fine). I would say, maybe a note would suffice, that it is in fact an original composition assembled from many sources, since they are listed in full on the Commons page (Unfortunately in full view too, the list as the legend covers more than half of the screen; that can't be right).

I don't really see a benefit (or a legal obligation whatsoever) in the list of sources. Wouldn't you agree, that you could omit the list on the right altogether? - Also, I questioned myself, who is Paolo Villa? It isn't really clear. Is he the author of the original Italian version and most probably a wiki user, most probably you? For me it looks a bit too prominent. Like any note on a copyright it should be stated at the bottom in fairly small letters.

Otherwise the graphic is absolutely clear and handsome. I would not have bothered if this wasn't the case. Just a suggestion, thank you anyway, MenkinAlRire (talk) 15:35, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your writhed right, but if I didn't write all sources, someone could purpose and easier obtain the deletion of pdf, so with easy read sources It's more safe. Paolo Villa (talk) 17:17, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

But it isn't nescessary to put them actually IN the picture and a copyright note would be enough. The Commons link of each image provide all the data. MenkinAlRire (talk) 19:23, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ipersaturazione

[edit]

--Sailko (talk) 14:47, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I know the problem. I also see your photos and they are usually a better than others (lights, framing). As you have noticed I leave my original photos without retouching because I think there are people more skilled than me, with color I don't consider myself skilled, I don't emphasize any single rgb. The color temperature is from the camera or sometimes from the automatic exposure of gimp that I then superimpose in transparency on the original image, because I hate burnt whites. Thank you for writing to me. PS If there were ways to correct the color without acting on the individual rgb, It would be interesting. --Vuvueffino (talk) 17:58, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
