You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Sorry, das war nicht als vorgebliche Angabe gedacht, ich wußte einfach nicht mehr, woher kam das Bild, habe es aber aufgrund seines schieren Alters als vermutlich gemeinfrei einsortiert. Der Pinterest-Fundstelle zufolge ist es von/aus "Clara Gutsche: The Sisters of the Visitation, La Pocatiere © All rights reserved" und anderswo steht dass Clara Gutsche 1949 geboren ist. Somit muss es leider gelöscht werden. --Túrelio (talk) 21:02, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Auf der Suche nach einem Ersatzfoto für den Klausur-Artikel auf :de bin ich auf dieses Foto gestoßen: File:Klausurgitter der Visitandinnen.jpg. Da fehlt die Quellen-Angabe. Zudem widerspricht die Angabe deiner Autorenschaft der Angabe PD-Old (denn du bist ja zum Glück nicht vor >70 Jahren verstorben). Vielen Dank für deine Mühe. Derartige Schwarz-Weiß-Fotos verführen leider dazu, daß man denkt, das sei alles schon viel länger her. Kann ich irgendwas tun, um die Löschung zu beschleunigen oder geht das einfach seinen Gang? Das andere Bild hatte ich seinerzeit mit dem alten Hochladeassistenten eingestellt, da hab ich mich in den jeweiligen Angaben des Menüs nie zurechtgefunden. Wenn ich es recht verstehe, kann ich PD-Old stehen lassen, müßte aber einfügen, woher das Bild ist? --Turris Davidica (talk) 09:22, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Das 1. Bild ist ja schon weg, es geht also nur noch um das 2. Wenn aus der Quelle hervorgeht, dass PD-Old gerechtfertigt ist (z.B. Fotograf spätestens 1944 gestorben), dann reicht es, die Quelle anzugeben. Andernfalls ist zu klären, ob es überhaupt bleiben kann. Falls der Urheber noch lebt, kann man ggf. auch versuchen, von ihm/ihr eine Erlaubnis zu erhalten; manchmal klappt das. --Túrelio (talk) 09:29, 24 February 2015 (UTC)

Salve! Bei diesem Bild hast Du "own work" angegeben. Verzeih, wenn ich dir nicht ganz abnehme, daß du das selber gepinselt hast. ;) Es wäre interessant zu wissen, aus welchem Buch du das gescannt hast. z.b. versuche ich gerade herauszufinden, wie weit zurück sich die derzeit in D übliche Strickweise verfolgen läßt. Die meisten der alten Bücher, die ich gewälzt habe, haben gar keine Bilder oder zeigen nur Nadel und Garn, aber nicht die Hände. --Madame (talk) 10:14, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Hi, ich hab das nicht selber gepinselt, aber das Bild selbst gemacht. Es ist ein Ausschnitt einer Seite aus der Tüchtigen Hausfrau von Antonie Steimann (Antonie Steimann, Die tüchtige Hausfrau, Süddeutsches Verlags-Institut Stuttgart, 1913, S. 18, zwei Bände). WiMRE finden sich dort keine Angaben zu den Illustrationen. Ich habe die Bücher auf dem Flohmarkt gekauft, es gibt aber mittlerweile auch mindestens eine Möglichkeit, sie als gezippte Datei im Internet herunterzuladen. --Turris Davidica (talk) 07:50, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Blaukraut or Rotkraut

I reverted File:Martinigansl mit Rotkraut und Serviettenknödel.jpg to its original file name because in Austria, where this dish was photographed, the word Rotkraut can also be used for red cabbage. OIC, I stand corrected. I am from Germany and never heard this combination of the two variations. Dependent from where we live we call it either Blaukraut (in the South) or Rotkohl (mainly in the North). --Turris Davidica (talk) 13:54, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
