Getting help

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.

Hi. While text of VOA is in the public domain, VOA often uses AP images, which are not in the public domain, because it was not VOA's work. Please make sure you check that before uploading and not to remove the copyvio tag for this file.

Flag of Afghanistan

Hi Syed Aashir, please note that if you redirect the file "Flag of Afghanistan" to the file "Flag of Taliban", it may, considered what links there, look like the country of Afghanistan has used the Taliban flag for years, for exempel in, Flags of the Nations at the Olympics and the Paralympics. This is NOT the case. Please consider that redirecting the file like you did may give sever context problems. I discovered this at svwp, but I quess it may be the same on other wikis. Remember that Commons it not a encyklopedia, it is for pictures, and it is a file namne, not an encyklopedia article, and as long how this file is used is not consistent, redirect the file like you did is not good. For example, olympics from Afghanistan in last decade was not under the Taliban flag. We know nothing about the future, but we do know about the past.
