Please leave me any messages, I'll endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible! I can understand messages on simple French, Italian and Spanish, if that's more convenient than English; however I will probably have to reply in English, or you'll laugh at me :)
I'm not happy with the permission email for this image which you've reviewed. Please ensure that clear details of what licence the photographer releases the image are included. See here for more. If the uploader isn't able to resolve this then I will have to propose the image be deleted. Adambro14:39, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Adam, you're right, this appears to have been one of my first OTRS tickets :/ I'll drop the original copyright holder an e-mail requesting a clearer statement. ~ Riana ⁂15:16, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Riana a number of things I need you to help with. First of all can you create a PD-Italy template -it redirects at present. I've uploaded an image Image:Teatro Margherita.jpg which is public domain and it needs fitting with a proper tag. Here is the one at Italian wikipedia =pre April 22 1941 is public domain
Secondly I've made many agreements with flickr users to use the images for wikipedia. COuld you help sort the OTRS ticketing? Shall I send you copies of the emails,? Adambro never seems to be about to do it. I will be arranging a number of agreements with flickr users -would you be willing to help we get some of these fantastic images uploaded? ON wikipedia I'm currently developing articles on poorer but often exotic parts of the world where images make a huge differenve. Hope you are well -please respond, Blofeld Ernst Stavro Blofeld15:27, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As I've explained to Blofeld, the idea is that you send emails to OTRS rather than individually editors and if you do this then they'll be dealt with. Like I've said, I have a job and other commitments as I'm sure many other OTRS volunteers have. Please be little a more patient. Adambro
Which is exactly what I did Adam. Its just as soon as you sent me a message I responded within a minute you had gone. I thought you'd be around for 5-10 minutes at least. I am fully aware you are a busy guy. Anyway Riana many of the images which I uploaded and have been transferred don't have the OTRS ricketing on them. Do you know how this can be fixed so any new images i upload have the correct ticketing on them? E.g images like Image:Barentuwomen.jpgErnst Stavro Blofeld21:42, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Riana,
thank you for your hlp with the images issue. Someone edited the Sasha Grey gallery page saying images must be apporved by talent and management. That was not my manager, nor myself deleting the images. Nolanus tried to revert the changes but image SG_03,jpg wouldn't show up, so I added the image again as SG 04, but I'm having an issue getting it to appear in the gallery. Would you mind helping? Thanks.

Hi Riana, User:Historiograf has raised in the point on the VP (and also foundation-l) that this deletion request was closed in just three days. I agree with him that this is too quick and I would like to see this discussion re-opened and extended because it has wider implications. thanks, pfctdayelise (说什么?) 03:10, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Riana, I just uploaded this one when I noticed someone had evidently been quite busy already. :P Nice work. Isn't it a wonderful collection?
I guess you used a bot or something to upload them here? If you get a chance do have a look at their originals on the Powerhouse Museum website -- they are very richly descriptive.
Hi, and thanks. en:User:Jéské Couriano's the one to see about this sad case. Also, someone should tell the real en:Gavin that he can request the impersonator here be renamed to free-up the username for his use. This should probably be done anyway for all impersonators. I've noticed that four five of the images I uploaded that Grawp vandalized no longer appear in my gallery; is there any way to fix this short of my re-uploading them? -- which seems rather wasteful of resources.
I can't find any process that was initiated to delete the naked party images. How did you determine they were "kiddie porn". I don't remember seeing such images on the page. Please clarify.
I came here for the same thing. I'd understand if they were deleted because of copyright problems but I really can't understand that "kiddi porn" argument!!! (I mean "argument") Is it pure provocation? --TwoWings * to talk or not to talk...04:57, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No. These images are available elsewhere on the Internet and are known child pornography images. Other Wikimedians who are interested in keeping such material off WMF have alerted me to them. I will personally not undelete them under any circumstances, and I would ask other admins to exercise great care and thought to the consequences before agreeing to do so. ~ Riana ⁂09:40, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I can understand that it's a problem of copyvio if it's available elsewhere (proof?) but how can you say it's child porn?! The persons on those pictures were mature! Or did I miss something? Did someone uploaded new versions of these files over the images I saw?!! I really don't understand how the images I saw could be considered as child porn! --TwoWings * to talk or not to talk...06:45, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am most definitely not going to send you a link to these images in as public a place as my talkpage, and I'm frankly appalled that you'd even ask that. If you like, I can e-mail you. ~ Riana ⁂08:02, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well yeah you can send it by e-mail if you want so that I'd get a proof of copyvio and I could see if we're really talking about the same pictures. Because I still want you to tell me why you call that child porn! That's my main concern because it wasn't child porn to me so it looked somehow dishonest to write that in the justification of deletion ! --TwoWings * to talk or not to talk...10:30, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Riana,
I am not sure how long this takes but I fired off a permission for the following a few days ago to the permissions email but haven't head anything, inlcuding whether it was formatted correctly. Are you able to check? Shall I re-email the permssion? thx in adnvace Casliber06:00, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He has resent the release at 11.15 last night. Can they just be undeleted from the above locations or have they actually been expunged? Casliber21:29, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Dear user, I noticed that you use the includePage function in your monobook.js page.
This function is now obsolete, as the importScript function was introduced with rev:35064 to the MediaWiki Javascript core library wikibits.js. It also keeps track of already imported files.
I just wanted to say a huge thanks for your support in my RfB. It just closed, and I'm now a bureaucrat. If you ever want to discuss any of my actions, as a 'crat, admin, or plain old user, please don't hesitate to leave a note on my talk page.
If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue.
In all cases, please do not take the deletion request personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!
I cannot understand these messages I'm getting. Why is this image going to be deleted? EVERYTHING that can be possibly sent was sent already. You guys have to be more careful with these deletion notices, it doesn't make you a better wikipedian to make genuine uploaders waste their time checking things for the millionth time!! --Gmlegal (talk) 13:34, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The chemical structure Image:4,4-biphenol space filling.JPG you uploaded has been tagged as disputed and is now listed in Category:Disputed chemical diagrams. Images in this category are deleted after one month if there is no upload of a corrected version and if there is no objection from the uploader or other users. Please discuss on the image talk page if you feel that the dispute is inappropriate. If you agree with the dispute, you can either upload a corrected version or simply allow the image to be deleted.
Yep, you're absolutely right - I think the uploader just selected the default. Changed to PD. Thanks for your attention and sorry about the extremely belated response. ~ Riana ⁂11:48, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Riana, please review the edits i made to Template:Cc-by-3.0-IndiaFM and please review the category included by this template Category:Images from IndiaFM.com. There are three images from another site having this template included by me:
If you created the content yourself, enter {{Own}} as the source. If you did not add a licensing template, you must add one. You may use, for example, {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} or {{Cc-zero}} to release certain rights to your work.
If someone else created the content, or if it is based on someone else's work, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you!
Dear Riana. I am writing to you to inform you that you are in danger of losing your adminship on Commons because of inactivity.
If you want to keep your adminship, you need both to sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section within 30 days of today's date, and also to make at least five further admin actions in the following six months. Anyone who does not do so will automatically lose administrator rights.
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.
I would like to inform you that you lost your adminship here on Commons because you didn't signed the Commons:Administrators/Inactivity_section/Aug-Sep_2009, You're welcome to apply for adminship again in the normal way when you have more time for work on Commons again.
I would like to say that I'm deeply thankful for all the hard work you've done here on Commons, and I'm sure the complete communety agrees with me on this. I would love to see you again as active user, or administrator on Commons in the future.

Not really sure how you ran across this :) — well, speaking for myself, I saw it because it was linked here. Whenever I see a photo of a celebrity in their prime, I always click through to see if it has a crappy FUR. I do a lot of licensing work on the small wiki with which I am involved, and it is invariably exhausting and unappreciated. So I thought I'd post an anonymous thank you for wrangling Flickr and OTRS! :> Xeriphas1994 (talk) 19:47, 1 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Riana (usurped). To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Riana (usurped)~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Thanks for uploading File:Richard Bourke.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).
Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Roberta Jull.jpg, was missing information about where it comes from or who created it, which is needed to verify its copyright status. The file probably has been deleted. If you've got all required information, request undeletion providing this information and the link to the concerned file ([[:File:Roberta Jull.jpg]]).

I want the authorization of your landlord to insert the official photo of President Michel Temer (Brazil); The image is an official act that falls into the public domain as provided by law.
It even already has a template in Wikimedia Commons regarding the proposed subject.
Art. 8 The following are not subject to copyright protection under this Law:
IV - texts of treaties or conventions, laws, decrees, regulations, judicial decisions and other official acts;
Therefore, because it is an official photograph of the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and as provided by law, the above mentioned image falls in the public domain.
