Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki - it is really easy. More information is available at the Community Portal. Re:Some probable copyrighted images
[edit]Hi! You are right that these images are questionable. I will nominate them for deletion and see what happens. Thanks --JeremyA 03:36, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Re: Image review petition
[edit]Hi! People not seeing the 'nc' part of creative commons licences on Flickr images is a common problem. I have deleted the image. Thanks, —JeremyA 02:52, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Re: Album Covers
[edit]You are correct. Album covers are almost never going to be usable at the Commons (in this case it could be uploaded to the English Wikipedia under a fair use claim). I have deleted these two images. Thanks, —JeremyA 03:47, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I have no idea what happens to images in this category. Frankly, nobody does. Therefore, we are discussing what to do with those images on Commons_talk:Flickr images. In fact, creative commons license are irrevocable, so we actually don't have to delete pictures of which the license was changed. However, this places Commons in an very unethical situation. But again, there is no real policy about that, that's what we are discussing on Commons_talk:Flickr images. Hope I have helped you, -- Bryan (talk to me) 19:38, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
Image deletion warning | Image:Utada Hikaru Kanto 2004.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

Fichero eliminado
[edit]Hola;

You placed a rename request on this image that mystifies me somewhat. The image is the Watchman building not the Sinnott building, 1932 not 1981, and as far as I can tell the file name was not changed when it was copied over from En Wikipedia. I've removed the rename request for now, but I'm interested to find out what your actual intent was. Werewombat 17:50, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
