88.134.45.6! What are you doing? What is this unneccessary deletion request? This picture is obviously PD because of its age and of course because of a law of the Soviet Union as successing state of former Imperial Russia stating every image published there before 1973 iin the Public Domain. This applies worldwide. The Sikorsky plane Russky Vityaz or Le Grand was built in 1913, flown and scrapped in 1915 after an accident where its right wing was destroyed and Igor Sikorsky then built the also four engined Ilya Muromets instead of repairing Le Grand and Ilya Muromets came to fly in WW1. There is no information who took the picture. You may understand that there are many pictures with unknown photographer. In case of legally clear copyright status there is no need to provide a photographer' s name, easpecially if there isn' t one. You can also assume for sure that he is also long dead and gone. Here it is obvious that the picture is in the PD and therefore I have taken out the deletion request. Reptil 2 September 2006, 18:58 (UTC)

Hi Reptil, I found some images which were uploaded by you after May 23rd, 2006. Unless you can find (i.e. in archive.org) that these images had previously been released in the PD by the Ministero della Difesa, they will have to be proposed for speedy deletion, because that was the last evident date in which the content of www.difesa.it was expressely licensed as free. The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Reptil~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything.
