- In Flickr this file is public domain [1]. Did the Flickr uploader illegally copy it? -Red-back spider (talk) 07:25, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
- Basically. It’s Known as flickrwashing, and it’s pretty common for Flickr users to take copyrighted photos from other places and post them on their Flickr account under a free license. Sometimes it’s intentionally done by Commons users, but most times, it’s nothing malicious and the Flickr users just don’t know better. Ytoyoda (talk) 12:44, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, I will check for flickrwashing and I will request deletion of this picture from Wikimedia Commons. Thanks! --Red-back spider (talk) 21:19, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

- It is under the licence 'Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic (CC BY-SA 2.0)' so you can use it, [1] and find it in TinEye Reserve - they look almost exactly same but their background is missing so it is not an exact match. --Red-back spider (talk) 21:58, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

- It's still copyrighted packaging. The only person who can license these for us to host is the manufacturer. --Herby talk thyme 07:32, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
Okay, I won't use this picture for any thing. --Red-back spider (talk) 07:38, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

Picture
I want to assure you that I am the taker of that pic, just look at its metadata and you'll see that it was originated from my own device. That scam site copied mine! Next time, look for evidence before you start accusing people, because it is rude and I am 😡 about it. You owe me an apology for this accusation.--NeoBatfreak (talk) 06:34, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi! Appreciate brilliant template ideas and looking after copyright violations. Also, thank you for the memorable photos. Keep up the great work. :) Gryllida (talk) 05:14, 4 June 2020 (UTC) |
Tiffany Trump image
The link you put for "Tineye" about Tiffany Trump DOES NOT work when clicked on. Don't nominate a photo that is under a fair license and then provide an invalid link. Tym2412 (talk) 15:00, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
Autopatrol given
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. -- ~riley (talk) 20:28, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

My user page
Hi, Red-back spider. I see you blanked my userpage a few hours ago and then two minutes later nominated it for deletion because it is blank. I want to let you know that blanking someone's userpage is vandalism, and then nominating that person's userpage due to it being empty is on a whole new level. Also, you shouldn't be nominating someone's userpage for deletion. If you continue this behavior, you will be reported to COM:AIV and you may be blocked from editing. Please explain your actions here. HurricaneCovid (talk) 01:55, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- @HurricaneCovid: Your user page was a double redirect so I fixed it by changing the first redirect's from your user page to your user page on wikipedia and then made the page blank so it was no further needed. --Red-back spider (talk) 08:27, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- @HurricaneCovid: I am very sorry for blanking your user page it was a mistake of mine while I was fixing a double redirect. Sorry. --Red-back spider (talk) 04:50, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's fine; we all make mistakes. But what was the deletion request for? HurricaneCovid (talk) 17:07, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oh, I did it because the page was blank. --Red-back spider (talk) 06:16, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
