File:The Ponzi Factor -- Paperback.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

- If what you're claiming at Commons:Deletion requests/File talk:The Ponzi Factor -- Paperback.jpg, please clarify at User talk:Túrelio#Commons:Deletion requests/File talk:The Ponzi Factor -- Paperback.jpg. Files which are deleted aren't gone forever; they are only hidden from public view and can be restored once the issues which led to their deletion are resolved. What you seem to have mistakenly done is to start a deletion request for a non-existent file talk page when I think you really wanted to start an undeletion request for a deleted file. Túrelio is the administrator who deleted the file, and thus can best explain why it was deleted and what is needed to have it restored. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:34, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Quantstyle,
- the currently deleted image had been claimed by you as "own work", but was found to be prepublished at theponzifactor.com, a website that is marked "© 2018 Quanstyle, LLC. All rights reserved". In addition, the image shows a book cover with at least 2 potentially copyrightable elements; so, it's likely copyrighted. If you have a permission from its creator or from the copyright holder to release it under a free license, you need to provie evidence, by a confirmation from the cover creator or the copyright holder, to be send to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org . --Túrelio (talk) 08:34, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
