Hi Poleta33! I have seen you adding a "|" to categories, e.g. changing Category:Gephyromantis sculpturatus to Category:Gephyromantis|sculpturatus. Can you give me a hint what the | is doing? Hm, what is it sorting? I can't see a difference between the "outcome" of using or not using it. But maybe the differnce is something I do not see but the systems recognises. without | the category is sorted under the G (G for Gephyromantis)

with the |sculpturatus the category is sorted under s (s for sculpturatus)

Please help replace this outdated license

Hello!

Thank you for donating images to the Wikimedia Commons. You have uploaded some images in the past with the license {{PD}}. While this was a license acceptable in the early days of Wikimedia, since January 2006, this license has been deprecated and since October 2008 no new uploads with this license was allowed.

The license on older images should be replaced with a better and more specific license/permissions and you can help by checking the images and adding {{PD-self}} if you are the author or one of the other templates that you can see in the template on the image page.

Bonjour,

Comme suite a la discussion du bistro, j'ai telechargé le fichier SHX Mammals - terrestrial et essaye de voir ce que je peux faire avec mon logiciel.

Je decouvre le truc en meme temps que je le fait, mon probleme pour l'instant, c'est de retrouver tous les contours d'une meme sorte (si j'ai tout compris, parametre bionominal).

En plus, comme le fichier est particulierement gros, ca rame, voir ca plante.

• Au sujet de cette modif, je te recommande {{Synonym taxon category redirect}} qui est basé sur {{Category redirect}} mais prend les paramètres source= et accessdate= en plus
• Au sujet de Conrauidae, tu as cassé ton WBR ? ;-) Tu sais que WBR marche pour wikicommons, hein ? J'ai ajouté les infos.
• Au sujet de Conraua, tu y a été un peu fort, non ? J'ai mis à jour les infos.

pour la 1 je ne connaissais pas en effet c'est mieux

pour 2 et 3, je n'ai jamais ajoute d'info avec WBR sur commons et je dois avouer que je n'y avais même pas pense !... pour moi commons c'est juste du stockage de fichiers mais bon je ferais attention la prochaine fois et je ferais marcher le merveilleux WBR !

Tu as raison: commons est juste un stockage de média.

Mais bien sur il y a plein de soucis:

• Comment éviter de créer plusieurs catégories pour des synonymes.
  • => Il faut fournir des références
• comme on a pas l'identification de toutes les bététes => on a des catégories pour tous les rangs (genre, famille, ordre)
  • du coup en rentre de le délire de classer les catégories
    • mais quelle(s) classification(s) => Il faut fournir classification, sources, références ...

Ca suit la théorie de l'emmerde maximum ;-)
