- Bon dimanche et à bientôt Thank you.--Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk) 04:24, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
Thank you.--85.69.56.135 13:40, 12 March 2017 (UTC)

Re:
[edit]Sorry about to write in english. Most times, you need to send permission when a file was published before, the file has not exif or metadata, or someone tag the file as doubtful. What source you use for the map? --Ganímedes (talk) 22:11, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
- Dear sysop Ganimedes, thank you again for your kind answer. No problem with my english reading but only excuse my for my rough english writing which is due to my age as a retired biomedical researcher in neuroscience. :My file Les voyages de Turms l’Étrusque.jpg (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Les_voyages_de_Turms_l%E2%80%99%C3%89trusque.jpg) has been created by me Utilisateur:Pierre Raymond Esteve in Commons at the date of 13 September 2019 at 09:43. I first created this page of 137 KB in Commons with UploadWizard. I have declared that this was my Own work because this map was my source drawwing made using Photoshop Elements 12 with all names of antic towns added one after the other with this Adobe software. In doing this map my purpose was to illustrate the section 3 named Carte et lieux of the article L’Étrusque (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%27%C3%89trusque) of 111 KB that i created before in the french Wikipedia at the date of 11 may 2019 together with help of Utilisateur:DePlusJean for the wikicode and the included boxes of this big article which was later considered as an advanced B article. The extended details of Metadata of this File:Les voyages de Turms l’Étrusque.jpg (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Les_voyages_de_Turms_l%E2%80%99%C3%89trusque.jpg) indicate the Photoshop Elements 12 software creating my drawing which took weeks for drawing this map by hand and completing it with soecific names of towns of antic Mediterraneum named in the Mika Waltari's novel. The detailed Metadata also indicate at the end that the original document is indicated as 9A215EE0692A783145047550109EB850. I hope that you may be convinced by my present comments that this file is my own personal work which was made especially for illustating the precedent article L’Étrusque in Wijipédia. It is after creating first this article and later this file and adding this file in the specific article that i have decided after to ask for an OTRS permission which apparently was not yet decided nor refused five weeks after the first reception of the [Ticket#2019091310003868] Re: Demande de permission OTRS pour un travail personnel intitulé File:Les voyages de Turms l’Étrusque.j [...] receifed 13 september 2019 at 12:45. Thank you very much for your attention and exoertise. I remain at your disposal for further informations. Cordially. --Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk) 08:21, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not syssop :) I'm not sure what you mean with Photoshop Elements 12. --Ganímedes (talk) 01:30, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
- On 6 june 2014 i have baught and installed on my PC Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 (Windows,Français) and my Serial Number from Adobe is 1057-1877-6821-0523-1469-6879. This drawing software is a lighter version of Adobe Photoshop but much less expensive and very useful. More precisely it is Adobe Photoshop 2012 (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop_Elements). A new version is appearing each year but the 2012 software is still convenient for me and I don’t needed to buy and upgrade it because it is well working presently under Windows 7. Sorry for my mistake. Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk • contribs) 07:28, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
- Isn't that a copyrighted software? --Ganímedes (talk) 01:36, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- I have been looking to my software and found : adobe photoshop elements 12 Version 12.1 (2014.0303.12.1.49334). © 2011-2014 Adobe Systems Incorporated. All rights reserved.--Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk) 08:47, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, that¡s what I was afraid of. I've got not much experience with files like this, but I suggest you to ask if it's possible to use a non-free software for doing them. Maybe in the Village Pump? --Ganímedes (talk) 21:50, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for your question that i have placed in the Village Pump following your advice, under discussion 10.2 of 28 october. Best. --Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk) 08:47, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Ganimedes: In the Village Pump the response to my question was that the used software is not concened with copyright. Because a computer cannot be an author but only people. Do you have other questions about this File:Les voyages de Turms l’Étrusque.jpg ? However i just have found in Commons:OTRS that for this file asking a permission OTRS was unnecessary because I created the file myself, it hasn't been previously published, and I am the sole owner of its copyright.. As a consequence could you tell me if you can accept to give me a permission OTRS or who can decide about it ? An alternative other question could be is it possible to withdraw the previous demand of permission OTRS with its associated Ticket ? because it was unnecessary to ask for it. As you may understand being new in Wp i have been ignorant of these rules in Commons:OTRS but now i am glad to have learned it with your help. Thank you. for your attention and responses . Best regards. --Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk) 06:47, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- Sure. I can close it no consecuences, if you want. Regards. --Ganímedes (talk) 00:54, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Ganimedes: Yes and thank you very much for your proposal. I will be very happy if you can close it. Best regards. --Pierre Raymond Esteve (talk) 06:06, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
