Falklands Geology map
[edit]Thank you for your appreciative words. I make not claims of strict accuracy for the map. There was a small-scale map in Spanish on Commons, and I found a version of the BGS map. I drew and SVG based at first on the Spanish map, though this is not clear and is a JPEG (or PNG, I can't quite remember) and fuzzy round the edges). I then took lessons drawn from the BGS map, being careful not to copy it as it is subject to copyright. The accuracy of the resultant map is therefore limited and the intrusive dykes may therefore be in slightly wrong places or to long of short.
The map was drawn with Inkscape, and could be adjusted in the same way were more accurate, data be available.
