Tagging images with {{Copyvio}}
[edit]Always when you tag an image as a copyright violation, give the reason, why you think the image is a copyright violation. You can do it by writing {{Copyvio|Reason}} and replacing ”Reason” with the reason. Thank you! --Joku Janne(Fi) (Wikiwiki) 23:12, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- This is still valid, please name your reason or at least the reason for your suspicion. --Martin H. (talk) 04:48, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Why did you mark this file as copyviolation? --High Contrast (talk) 06:51, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Why http://www.flickr.com/photos/14008778@N00/345548559/ and Commons:Flickr washing.http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/COM:FLICKRW --Lockon (talk) 07:02, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- When clicking on this link http://www.flickr.com/photos/14008778@N00/345548559/ , an error message occurs that the file is deleted on flickr. So why is it Flickr washing? --High Contrast (talk) 11:29, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Indeed. If you can prove that these images are copyrighted then it's best to take it to Commons:Deletion requests for these images. Bidgee (talk) 15:44, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Hey Lockon,
why are you still going on with the same behaviour? While it is good to find copyviolating images, it doesn't really help when you just tag images with "copyvio" without providing a source or rationale for that. Stop that! --Túrelio (talk) 07:28, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
I just saw you tagged the image above for deletion and I reverted you. Though this is a logo and copyrighted it does not meet the threshold of originality because it consists of simple letters, shape and colorization. Therefore it's allowed on Commons even with some restrictions. For further information see Image_casebook Trademarks. Mizunoryu (talk) 02:47, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Why did you tag File:JimmyRozeznic.jpg as copyvio? --Túrelio (talk) 09:22, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
