Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? The image is from an old brochure about meditation which was distributed free of charge (like most Buddhist meditation booklets) and uploaded to the internet by various people. Hi Novalis! I see. However, every image in Wikimedia Commons should be free of copyright, and those things don't imply that that is the case. The photographer of that image (or the company that he/she was working for) owns the copyright of the image, unless they have explicitly released the image into public domain (totally free of copyright) or licensed the image with a free license (free of copyright with some restrictions). It is very likely, that although the image is used in a brochure distributed free of charge, it is still copyrighted. Likewise, it is very common that people use images on their websites and don't care at all if the images are copyrighted, so breaking the law.

If you would like to keep the image on Wikimedia Commons, you should find the original photographer (or the copyright holder of the image, if the photographer is not the copyright holder), ask them to license the image with a free license, and if they are willing to do so, send their permit to the Commons' OTRS system. There are more information and instructions for doing this on the page Commons:OTRS. Finding the original photographer of the image might, of course, be quite hard thing to do.
