Semi-annoying unilateral action on your part masquerading as a so-called "proposal"[sic]
[edit]See File talk:Flag-map of Mandatory Palestine.svg. Next time it might be nice if you gave people longer than five minutes to consider and reply to your "proposals"[sic]... AnonMoos (talk) 15:13, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
When making a revert, please discuss the issue with the person, whether on their talk page or on the talk page of the item in question. Commons highly discourages edit wars without discussion, sometimes backed up by blocks (I am by no means threatening you, just informing you). w:WP:BRD is a very good essay on how to handle edit wars. - Aknowleged, but of course you know we are talking about the person who reverted me and you so many times (himself with no explanation except "false"), and reverted every possible person, who doesn't think the same as he does.Greyshark09 (talk) 16:49, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- Of course, yes, but it is also (of course) not an excuse to follow the process. If you are in front of a cop, and a guy kicks the headlights of your car in, and you do the same in return, then you will both go to prison. Better to do things the right way, and then wait until the other side reforms or hangs itself. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 23:58, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- @Magog the Ogre: Done Full explanation added per WP:BRD at File_talk:Syrian_civil_war.png#Disputed_areas_and_Golan_Heights. I encourage Supreme to stick to his version of the map (Syrian Civil War 2,png), in order to present another view for coloring the Golan, instead of edit-warring on the first version, which is clearly supported by the mainstream view.Greyshark09 (talk) 21:05, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- Supreme is no longer a part of this project. He can discuss the issue at English Wikipedia, but he cannot make any more edits here. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 21:45, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
- Actually he is, with your permission.Greyshark09 (talk) 21:05, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Syria map #3
[edit]Apparently your edits made Syria map #3 to be identical to Syria map #2, which is obviously not the purpose of that third version. Please apply your edits in line with community consensus.Greyshark09 (talk) 20:59, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, it's about the hatching on the Golan? I see I put my foot into an old settled matter there, without noticing. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll make sure to reinstate the hatching before I re-upload. Deuar (talk) 00:30, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, as you can see it was a very disputed issue and it took months to achieve some kind of consensus (Western Golan hatching is also indicating that it is not part of the War arena). Thanks!Greyshark09 (talk) 10:15, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
