User talk:George E. Koronaios
Hello George, would you happen to confirm this is a viaduc related to this specific river? Thanks and cheers. :-) Lotje (talk) 13:06, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have never been there and I have not read anything related to the subject, so I cannot confirm it. ː-( It looks legit to me, though. George E. Koronaios (talk) 19:33, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Good morning George, I added the category to it, because also I am convinced this is the same river. :-) Thanks and have an enjoyable Sunday. Lotje (talk) 03:38, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- You too, Lotjeǃ George E. Koronaios (talk) 21:39, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Skoufou Street
[edit]Only me again George, Skoufou Street at night on September 6, 2024 as well as the other images could all be added to the same category, if only I would know how to name it. What would you suggest? Thanks. Lotje (talk) 13:31, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- These are all on the same street. The first image is the street itself at night. The others are architectural elements on the facade of a derelict old building on the same street. You can partially see it in the fisrt image to the left of the red sign. George E. Koronaios (talk) 19:24, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks George, would Category:Odos Skoufou (Plaka) be suitable then? Lotje (talk) 03:41, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- Actually, a street with a cap hahahaha Lotje (talk) 03:45, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- HAHAHA if only it was named after itǃ Sadly, it is something more prosaic. ;-) My assumptions is this (https://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%93%CE%B5%CF%8E%CF%81%CE%B3%CE%B9%CE%BF%CF%82_%CE%A3%CE%BA%CE%BF%CF%8D%CF%86%CE%BF%CF%82). George E. Koronaios (talk) 21:39, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Hello George, wonder if the street has been named after Polygnotos (vase painter). Thank you so much for your time. Cheers Lotje (talk) 11:55, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- If I were to make an assumption I would say it is more probable that is is the other (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polygnotus) because in the vicinity of Polygnotou Street is what was once thought to be the Poikile Stoa (which "my" Polygnotus had decorated) but now it is acknowledged that it is the Library of Pantainus. It is my assumption, though and nothing more. George E. Koronaios (talk) 21:53, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so msuch George. Some more interesting history to read for me :-) Lotje (talk) 03:54, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Hello George, long time no Wiki see everything okay? If you would have a spare minute, I was wondering if you could take a look at this file. I'd love to read your comments. Thank you so much George. Have a wonderulf day. Lotje (talk) 12:17, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Greetings, Lotjeǃ After an issue I dealt with my spine, I suffer from sciatica, I decided to take a break from photography. That was on October 25. In regards to the coin, it belongs to the Acarnanian Leage and the figure on the head is that of the river Achelous or Acheloos. - Oh, so sorry to hear that. Sciatica is terribly painful. Osteopathy gives the best results, though, traditional doctors like to prescribe painkillers etc... (keeps them busy). Take good care of yourself and give me a buzz when you feel fit Thanks you so much for the detailed information. Lotje (talk) 14:44, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind words, Lotje. It is always a pleausure. Take careǃ ː-) George E. Koronaios (talk) 19:52, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
