File:Chyskillz in the ONYX's video "Slam".jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

File tagging File:Sonny Seeza.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Sonny Seeza.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Sonny Seeza.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Felix Montana.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Returned the copyvio notice - which had several lines reason explanation, while "unknown user" should not matter at all. Also notifying that this action was reported to admins of Commons. Tatewaki (talk) 21:37, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
- Tatewaki Did you know that revolvy.com is a full copy of the wikipedia website? Probably not! In addition, the logos to which you point in this message (from unknown for me IP address 2600:8804:1:6900:35F4:382A:6E19:8B87), "Chyskillz" and "719 music", were made by me. Thanks for helping to delete my file on Wikipedia. Felix Montana (talk) 22:00, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
@Majora: The revolvy.com is a well-known Wikipedia mirror. Do you have a relevant reason for deletion? Sealle (talk) 08:08, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- See the answer below. And just removing the notice without at least such an explanation (given only after blocking), based on "unknown user" and lying about "unexplained reason" (even it reasoning is wrong - unless it is a clear vandalism) is not acceptable anyway. [edit]You have been blocked from editing Commons for a duration of 2 weeks for the following reason: continuing to upload copyright violations after warnings.
If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{unblock|(enter your reason here) ~~~~}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. See also the block log. --Majora (talk) 21:37, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
- Revolvy wasn't the only place (just the first one) where I have found this image - large part of it was found also on Facebook and Twitter, without links to Wikipedia and marked with dates earlier than upload here. So, if you can prove that these, including the mark (also found at Twitter), were made by you, or Chyskillz can confirm your authorship as well as free license on logos from the person who drew them (you don't have the sole copyright on derivative work with someone else's elements) - you can dispute these deletions. Otherwise - there's no basis to trust just your claim. Tatewaki (talk) 16:19, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Tatewaki I do not need to prove anything to you. There are people who are responsible for this. This image was uploaded and verified a month ago. Also there are a lot of images on the Internet that do not have links to Wikipedia, because they are created not for Wikipedia many years ago. It should not contain any reference to Wikipedia. If you found this image on Facebook and Twitter, its only because image was uploaded there before this Wikipedia page was created. And if you noticed, this page Chyskillz was created after Chyskillz's death in memory of this person. If you don't respect dead people do not mislead people from Wikipedia such as Majora by referring to fake web sites such as "revolvy.com" or social media like Twitter or Facebook. This is a strange reason like the other reasons you gave earlier. And thanks to you, I was blocked on Wikipedia. I hope this is exactly what you wanted. Celebrate the victory! Felix Montana (talk) 17:14, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Felix Montana, as for I do not need to prove anything, please see COM:EVID. Sealle (talk) 17:53, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Sealle Because I was pinged I thought I would mention that I did not use Revolvy in my determination. I'm fully aware that that is a mirror site and I would never use that in any decision making here. The image that triggered this was previously published in a few places. Although not the full image a cropped version of it can be found on Facebook. That coupled with other deleted files let me to COM:NETCOPYVIO. This then led me to look at this talk page to see that numerous warnings were left including one that had OTRS instructions. The ignoring of that led to the decision to block. --Majora (talk) 21:14, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, I did not pay attention about the death of Chyskillz, though it does not give you any rights to accuse me of "no respect to dead people". However if the image was on social media or anythere timestamped before your upload to Commons and without clear connection to you - anyone, with or without registration, has the right to bring it to attention of admins, with the sole intent to obey the rules of Wikipedia. This is exactly what I did, and yes, you don't need to prove anything to me (I have just pointed out your possible misunderstanding of copyright rules), and it's up to admins to check the facts and judge the case your way or my way. Just in case, you are temporarily blocked on Commons, mostly because of many cases without connection to me, but you are not currently blocked on Wikipedia, though you do have a history of warnings and a short blocking in relatively cent past - again, without any connection to me. Actually, you still have a possibility to re-illustrate the article on Chyskillz even without the upload rights on Commons, since "Pictures of deceased persons, in articles about that person" constitute, with proper justifications, a criterion for a fair use (see en:WP:NFCI). Tatewaki (talk) 20:13, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Felix Montana, as for I do not need to prove anything, please see COM:EVID. Sealle (talk) 17:53, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

File:ВИНТ (Ю.Г.) 2018.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Deleted content
[edit]
- use in any work, regardless of content
- creation of derivative works
- commercial use
- free distribution
See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.Yours sincerely, Gbawden (talk) 18:21, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
