Lamentablemente, Commons sólo acepta archivos de licencia libre, es decir, que cualquier internauta puede hacer uso de ellos, incluso económico. Re:Billetes

Hola, la información del origen de la imagen ya la dabas en el resumen de subida, simplemente variaste la redacción, no el contenido. El problema es otro sin embargo, esos billetes están actualmente en circulación y como obra artística podrían estar protegidos por copyright. Este tema no está muy claro aquí, por lo tanto hasta que se solucione no continúes subiendo imágenes de billetes, ni quites los avisos. Un saludo. Anna 00:56, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Estimada Anna, la misma página del BCRP dice: "El contenido del Portal de Internet del BCRP se elabora con fines informativos y su uso es responsabilidad del visitante. Puede reproducirse total o parcialmente, sin autorización expresa, siempre y cuando se cite la fuente.",[1] ¿y qué hay en ese portal? pues imágenes de los billetes y monedas peruanos, los mismos que tú "dices" que tienen copyright basándote en la legislación de otros países. Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Your account will be renamed

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Discjockey. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Discjockey~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.

Hi Gunnex. La unidad monetaria denominada Inti dejó de ser de "curso legal" desde 1991 y su ley de creación (Ley Nº 24064 [2]) fue derogada mediante la la Ley Nº 25295, que estableció la nueva unidad monetaria del Nuevo Sol.[3] Además, la Ley Nº 24064 en ningún artículo dispone que las imágenes de los billetes o monedas de Intis tengan copyright. Lo mismo se aplica para las imágenes de los billetes o monedas de Soles de Oro (1863-1985) anteriores a los Intis.
¿Me puedes explicar de qué manera monedas sin valor legal y cuyas leyes fueron derogadas pueden llegar a tener algún copyright? [4]
Es absolutamente falso que los billetes peruanos tengan copyright, pues no existe ninguna ley que lo especifique. En "Terms of Use" acerca de la información del BCRP dice "is offered to the general public for informational purposes only", y en la versión en español [5] dice: "El contenido del Portal de Internet del BCRP se elabora con fines informativos y su uso es responsabilidad del visitante. Puede reproducirse total o parcialmente, sin autorización expresa, siempre y cuando se cite la fuente.", ¿y qué hay en ese portal? pues imágenes de los billetes y monedas peruanos, los mismos que tú "dices" que tienen copyright basándote únicamente en la legislación de otros países.
