Hello, Dan:
I'm curious why you removed Category:Sparkplug lighthouses from this. It certainly looks like one to me. Russ Rowlett agrees. Jim . . . . Jameslwoodward (talk to me) 20:14, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, my brain must be disconnected. Didn't see the new cat. Jim . . . . Jameslwoodward (talk to me) 20:15, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Notification about possible deletion
[edit]Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.
If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Category discussion notification | Category:High_Bridge_Park_(New_York_City) has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category. |

Please give images good descriptions
[edit]
Please give some thought to writing a good description of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. Thanks, and happy editing!

Fort King Road
[edit]There is, though, a Fort King Street here in Ocala. Named, apropos enough, b/c it goes by the old Fort King site. You may've been aware of that, but thought I'd letcha know, just in case. Btw, thanks for all the categorizing, and sorry I'm making so much work for you by taking so many pictures. ;) --Ebyabe (talk) 19:17, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- True, there are bits here and there across the state. I forgot about this one. --Ebyabe (talk) 21:54, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Any evidence for this edit?
[edit]Re: [1], as I remarked in the description on that page, I'm pretty certain this was never a train station, though it is built to look like one. Do you have any particular reason to think otherwise, or was this just a hasty edit? I've reverted, but if you have some reason to think I'm wrong, just respond here, I'll watch this page. - Jmabel ! talk 05:26, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Big surprise. I missed that. As far as the "Yin-Yang" logo you referred to, it's actually a the logo for the Northern Pacific Railway, not the Burlington Northern Railroad. The BN looks more like this(File:Burlington Northern Logo.png). ----DanTD (talk) 18:38, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- That's the current BN logo (quite recent, I believe), but the continued to use the yin-yang for years after the merger. - Jmabel ! talk 19:21, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Or maybe it was just left over on old rolling stock? I never gave much thought to anything other than that I continued to see it... - Jmabel ! talk
- More than likely it was a Northern Pacific leftover. I've got a schedule from 1970 that has the same logo right here(http://www.flickr.com/photos/42817804@N04/4015366206/). Plus, I've had model railroad trains from the 1970's with that logo. ----DanTD (talk) 21:09, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Interesting, I'm sure you are correct. - Jmabel ! talk 05:54, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

2 DART images
[edit]Just credit me as the original uploader and note it as a derived image, and you should be good to go. There may also be a wizard that can help with this. --05:55, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
