Strange nature

Aside from block @Huntster, i dont know why Onel5969 dislikes me. I respect him but see the query section. I was not given a single response. The line 3 has 6 stations and my article even after block and copyright removal is better than the other 5 stations. He is continously abolishing my page but he is leaving other pages as they are. How is this possible ? He didnt even said that i am adding feom a copyright preserved website that caused my block when i linked that article in query section. Why blocked

I don't know but I was blocked for 1 year on 18th October 2023 on French wiki why I don't know and cannot even discuss there now. No warning was provided for my wrong actions (if any) straightaway blocked. What to do now to revive I see I am not even allowed to use my talk page even. @Huntster when I joined Wikipedia and Wikimedia commons I was told of my wrong actions and I have evolved from those cases but this was too harsh for any new editor on a new Wikipedia.Chinakpradhan (talk) 11:53, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

It says the IP range is blocked, not that you are specifically. And it is a pretty wide-ranged block, so you probably just accidentally got caught in it. I would double check that you are logged in over there. No, because the image is entirely focused on the iROSA deployments rather than being general in nature, is relatively low resolution, and isn't a photograph. I want to suggest this to you: lead images do not need to be the most cutting edge, newest images of a topic available. The best lead image is the one that most clearly identifies the subject as a thumbnail on the page yet also provides a high resolution image when clicked. That isn't always the newest, most up-to-date image, and in fact rarely is. There will be new photographs taken of the station in time that feature the new array, but it isn't urgent that existing images be replaced. — Huntster (t @ c) 16:17, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Tiangong is a good example of when such an illustration is a good thing. That illustration is clear, has no text on it (so it works internationally), and there is no freely licensed image of the station that could be used in its place. The issue appears to be that you knowingly added copyright violations in the first place, and you've been repeatedly warned about them (5 times by your own count). That's completely unacceptable. It will be on you to convince a reviewing administrator that you understand the problem and will never do so again. The text has to come from somewhere, so how are you unknowingly doing so? As Rosguill says, never copy text from any website. I don't care if it's NASA or a news article, you never copy and paste text from a source. Everything you write must be in your own words. If you're concerned about grammar or something like that, type in Word or Google Docs and use their checking tools; typing out your prose into a word processor (or even just Notepad) first is also a great way to save your text without having to make a ton of edits. @Huntster did I say wrong?? You also said i am correct in explaining and apologies as per my situation. But looks like I am on the wrong track to a unblock as per the issues.see the first part was a way of pledging like "before breaking laws again its better to die", simply meaning I will never ever dare to break copyright laws. 2nd part was because rosguill send my works to be checked for copyright with note that I would have been using the tool-breaking trick which was wrong. I justified my reasons for pinging and told about my accent that may sound wrong to any individual. I said this in a gentle manner and that earned me a talk page block. How is this even possible?? The more the issue is elongating day by day, the more fixed, i am becoming. Please feel free to say if asking you trebles you.. I'm sorry this is happening, but it is best to treat it as a learning experience. Take some time to consider the words of those admins, and examine your own actions. You can still appeal through the UTRS system as mentioned, but do not do so hastily. Regarding the "die" part, I understand what you're saying but perhaps I'm simply attuned to such turns of phrase and others are not. If you decide to appeal, you should certainly bring up that it was not meant literally, but be *very* clear in your explanation.

The primary issue, though, are the copyright violations. This is something you need to think about very carefully. As I and others have said, it is never acceptable to include copyrighted material (even temporarily) or even phrasing derived from copyrighted material.

@Huntster hindi is my mother tongue, but we are more accustomed to english. btw "hard work gets appreciation" (its a phrase, that someone came to my rescue). leaving that, i have one thing to do if block turns to ban or remains infinite that, use https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page after learning the art of writing brief but significant notes. I have zero experience with UTRS. I couldn't begin to tell you how it works, as it isn't something that regular administrators can touch. If the message says to "try again later", then I suggest doing just that. Don't be in such a rush to do everything; that is one of the reasons you're in this situation in the first place. Aside from some of the spacecraft imagery from Cassini and Ingenuity, I don't think so. I wouldn't consider anything from a proposal to be public domain, because there's no evidence it was produced by NASA or for NASA under contract. — Huntster (t @ c) 22:46, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

NinjaRobotPirate, i never thought of disturbing you or any en-wiki administrator, but due to some unusual acts, i am at the brim of my anxiety forcing my to call you someone else has actually praised me on en-wiki.

i didnt want anymore charges, so said you here beforehand only before you spot this discussion on en-wiki and think this user as me. i dont have this high level of english language skills, so you can understand its not me (see my history to find my english language skills. i said on wikimedia commons as along with en-wiki indefinite block, i am already facing a 6 month utrs block or ban, even before the anonymous user @Santosh Aggarwal joined en-wiki from twitter and started editing en-wiki after copying my of editing and earned me a name of committing sockpuppetry (if you want to know more on this sock issue, email me)). A small request

@Ohsin: hi!! Didn't want to disturb you but can you undertake a small maintenance job on en-wiki articles where information about Hooghly Under water metro tunnel is mentioned by replacing the tag of first underwater metro tunnel to biggest underwater metro tunnel or removing it totally (future metro's can break this record so removes unnecessary updation requirement) as mentioned here in this page. i know its very bad to lend your homework to anyone else, but as I am away from enwiki for 6-10 months due to blocks, thus this erroneus information lying on en-wiki for decades must be quickly resolved. just try to use that web page as a citation only or at max use little info from there as it is a copyright preserved page. i will do the job on sister projects of en-wiki. you can also coronate cooum river or circular canal that are not getting rewarded currently for their work.Chinakpradhan (talk) 05:25, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

Please do not tag images to be superseded unnecessarily.

Chinak this file is direct extraction from SSLV-D2 press-kit PDF, has more contextual information and smaller size . Please clarify why you tagged it to be superseded instead to your later upload? Ohsin (talk) 02:37, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

@Ohsin: This was my first time. Next was i also took from pdf but I used WPS office to take out my one. It took out in PNG format. To have best quality, I tagged suppressed. See the other one you uploaded was of 230kb and I uploaded that in 229kb so I speedy deleted my one. But this gesture of speedy delete or delete won't be a good option and will depress you, so tagged suppressed to leave the option open for your to decide to delete or not. When images are identical image if original one is of low resolution upload new one in same format as new version of it. Any other derivative should be uploaded as separate image. PNG format suits images with text, JPG/JPEG etc. are better for photographs. Ohsin (talk) 11:20, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
