Hi CeasareBorgia, you could hardly have shot the marriage photo of your own parents. You need to find out who is the photographer and get his/her permission. Mere possession of a print does not automatically give you any copyright over the image. In addition, scanning of works of other people doesn't make you the author. You should herefore correct the author entries for your other uploads. --Túrelio (talk) 19:18, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Photograph died in german camp in WWII he is untraceable. He got paid for is work.
- Sad. Anyway, you can't label it as own work. Is there any name on the backside of the photo print, which might be from the photographer or the photo studio? If not, you have to replace your name by "unknown". --Túrelio (talk) 20:10, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Any way he would 120 years and over by know.
For other illustrations done by my Father in Mother Me Dominique Vincent, My Brother Jean-Francois Vincent and my Sister Marie-France are the legal owner for al here artwork and writing. I don't see any place where you give that option. There somwe an Info page but you have to be a legal councellor to understand anything. It's not user friendly.
- I don't really unerstand what you are saying. Fact is: of a work originally done by your father (or person X), you have to enter the name of your father (or of person X) into the author entry. It does not matter that you may have scanned or reproduced it, you are not the author and your name does not belong in the author entry. --Túrelio (talk) 20:21, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Finally I finfd the whrigth topic for my insertion it's "
The heirs of this work's copyright holder (usually the creator) have released it into the public domain. This applies worldwide.
In some countries this may not be legally possible; if so: |
– for works released into the public domain by the heirs of the creator." Me, my Brother and my sister for the artwork of Rodolphe Vincent and Odette Fumet. The best thing would be to cancell all insertion and start from scratch.
I do not find any way to delete what I inserted?
- To edit the description of File:03-PhotoMariage.png you click on File:03-PhotoMariage.png and then on Edit (or whatever it is labeled depending on your language-settings). When the edit-window opens, you see the current (and likely wrong) license-template {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}}. You just need to paste {{PD-heirs}} over it (overwrite) and click below on Save-page. However, before doing the latter, you should replace your name behind |author= by the name of your father or whoever is the original creator of the original work (not of your reproduction). --Túrelio (talk) 20:47, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
As I am going off-line now, in case of need you may look for a French-speaking admin colleague at Commons:Administrateurs. --Túrelio (talk) 20:53, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:22 Kiri le castor.png. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:22 Kiri le castor.png]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |
