Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Pomoć

Bzmarko, jesan. Kada rabiš kakovu pomoć za sliki, slobodno me ovdi kontaktiraj, pomoć ću ti kuliko moren, prehitit ča, ali na samoj Wikipediji ne moren, aš me AO svojon nepravednom odlukom blokiral. Zahtjev za brisanje

Bzmarko, ča ni dobro na File:Soline - nagrđenje primorskog ambijenta- zgrade pretjeranih dimenzija, kričavih boja, potpuna neuklopljenost u okoliš.jpg. Videla san da si ju stavil za brisanje, ma ne razumin razlog. Bog i se :-)) --Roberta F. (talk) 12:46, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Template:Duplicate

Bzmarko, sad san ti dodala odgovarajući predložak ki rabi za ovakove potribe {{Duplicate}}. Tr san već pročitala članak o uvali, da ča da j' dobar! Pred neki dan san postavila , ča san ju pozabila zadnji put kad san sliki z Dobrinja prehićevala. Nekad mi se bilo najlipše va njoj kupat, aš je teplije, a meni tepline nikad dosti. Vidin da ti je e-mail dodan va postavki, ti dela? Ako nis videl, još ima onijstih kima se ne dopada ča se storilo z onimi odlukami, pa moreš vidit ča bi neki oteli: http://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedija:Kafi%C4%87#Glasovanje .
