Request for a bot improvment
Hi Bryan
First, thanks a lot for your great bot : a great benefit for wikipedia !... good job !... Secondly, my request : I think it would be a good idea to always add a category such as Photographs by photo_owner during your import... bye... Poleta33 (talk) 11:44, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
The bot is awesome
What would users do without the bot? Congratulations and keep up the good work. Ebaychatter0 (talk) 17:23, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Uploading Cosplay costumes from France
There are some rather interesting cosplaying and costume from France that I would like to upload to Commons. However I ran into my upper limit. Could you please raise my limit upload per hour? Thanks. Ebaychatter0 (talk) 17:19, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Problem with FlickreviewR bot
Hi Bryan,
I have being in trouble with FlickreviewR's actions concerning Flickr images. Almost all Flickr images I have uploaded so far and are "reviewed" by this bot, are replaced with the highest resolution available in Flickr, which is obviously NOT MY CHOICE. This action generates two problems: first and greatest instead of a 280 Kb of traffic there will be a 3.9 Mb one for instance, and second: the image disappears from "My uploads" list.
Please, stop doing that, or the average traffic of articles using those images will be increased exponentially. At this moment I'm trying to find all my Flickr uploaded images and revert this action.
Regards. --Marcric (talk) 12:21, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
- Uploading the highest res image is done on purpose as the Wiki image scalers work fine. Don't revert the images to a lowres version, you may find many of these changes reverted. --Denniss (talk) 19:04, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
