Killing of O'Shea Sibley
[edit]Hi B3251, I saw and appreciated you creating a page about what happened to O'Shea Sibley. I just uploaded an image of a memorial for him outside the gas station where he was killed. I'm TBANNED from GENSEX on the English Wikipedia (long kinda ridiculous story) and therefore can't add it to the article myself, so giving you a heads up about the image here. Best,

- Hey there, Thank you for the upload. I'm not fully sure if I can take edit requests as of right now; the first (and last) time I did was an edit request through email to edit an article on somebody's behalf. I (unknowingly) did so, resulting in a warning to not do so because it is, as said in the warning, proxying for a sockpuppet. I'll ask around to see if I can do so before making the edit, if that's alright. Thank you again. B3251 (talk) 18:16, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- Quick little update, it seems that I cannot add it due to WP:PROXYING, apologies! B3251 (talk) 18:33, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- No worries! Also it seems like someone else just added it lol. Fwiw, I think it's not necessarily proxying due to the clause unless they are able to show that the changes are either verifiable or productive and they have independent reasons for making such edits - I'm fully allowed to upload stuff to commons and you're allowed to add images on Wikipedia if you think they're worthwhile. That's why I didn't ask you to add it and just let you know the image exists and I can't add it myself lol. I've generally been very hesitant to upload LGBT related images to commons even though I'm fully allowed to do so, but I was at the memorial and thought the picture would improve the article and nobody would upload it if I didn't take it there and then. Might upload another from a protest a day later I took for the same reason. Anyways, thanks for the consideration and writing the article and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
