If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.
Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

Hello Another Believer/Archive 5,
the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:
The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
use in any work, regardless of content
creation of derivative works
commercial use
free distribution
See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.
File:San Francisco Pride Parade 2015 (19056471770).jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)
Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
In looking through this talk page, and some of the archived ones, I note that an inordinate number of images you uploaded have been deleted because of copyright or licensing problems. I strongly suggest that you review Commons:Licensing to remind yourself of what is and isn't allowed to be uploaded on Commons, and that you bring your uploading activities into strict accordance with this policy. Thanks, Beyond My Ken (talk) 15:13, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Beyond My Ken: Apologies. This usually happens when I use the Flickr-to-Commons tool to copy image galleries to Commons. I usually do a Creative Commons search at Flickr, find a photo album, then transfer using the tool. I assume they are all licensed the same, when clearly they are not. (For example, see that all images deleted above were from the same SF Pride photo album... apparently not all of the images in the album were licensed the same.) I thought this was the purpose of doing a Creative Commons search and using the Flickr-to-Commons tool, but clearly it does not work the way I thought and I don't plan on using it often. -Another Believer (talk) 17:04, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, as an active colleague on upload projects, I thought I'd drop you a personal heads-up for my request for adminship, today being the last day for views. RFA's tend to only have a small proportion of the community taking part, so it can be difficult to judge if this is representative. --Fæ (talk) 13:28, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Another Believer, I saw your splendid photos of churches in Houston, Texas. There is still lacking a photo of Our Lady of Walsingham, the main church of the "Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter". Are you able to provide one? - Greetings from Germany, --Rabanus Flavus (talk) 10:01, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Rabanus Flavus: Thanks for your kind words. I do not live in Houston, but I visit now and then, so I will keep your request in mind. You might post a note at WikiProject Houston at English Wikipedia because I know there are at least a couple active editors and photographers in Houston. -Another Believer (talk) 16:09, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
