You're not alone (Image:Ameen.svg)
[edit]Image:Slogan-ar-wiki.svg has the same problem, seems to be a problem with Arabic fonts on Wikimedia SVG renderer... AnonMoos 14:38, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- You are right. But after I uploaded this svg file and realized the problem, I tried to make my Firefox to view the svg and it was the same result. After few tries, I found that it can be viewable by moving the whole text out of the designing area (In Inkscape) to the left and it worked after few refreshes from the browser. May be it is an error in Inkscape itself. Thank you for you commnet. --AhmadSherif 10:53, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Help for translation
[edit]Hi. I'm Giorgio from Italy, even if I'm living in Poland. I'm working, with others, to scan and release in Commons all the archive of the italian admiral Ernesto Burzagli. Amid all his material we found a diploma or award or whatever written in arabic Image:Arabic.jpg. The admiral was a diplomat as well, and on 20's he made a travel around the world with an italian royal navy vessel called "Libia". Could you help to translate it? Thank you very much for your help.--Giorgiomonteforti 13:44, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- I really thank you for the time you spent on the document. Actually I didn't think about the possibility that the document were written in arabic font but different languages use arabic font. Typical western ignorance. What a shame. So let's try with persian language. I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't want to offend you. I'm just trying to make understandable to all a piece of history. I'll let you informed about progresses in translating the document that I think, after your suggestions, is a sort of avard, isn't it? Thanks again and if you need something about Italy or italian language or whatever I could know (not very much actually) just write me.--Giorgiomonteforti 21:00, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
