After the WMF team evaluated the quality of edits made through the Computer-aided tagging tool they decided to shut it down.
After community discussions, it was decided to mass revert edits made through the Computer-aided tagging tool:
- Archived village pump proposal (content approval)
- Bot work request (technical discussion)
- Approved bot request (technical approval)
User:SchlurcherBot has completed these edits.
Details
[edit]A total of 1'488'983 revision changes were performed through the Computer-aided tagging tool. Each change will be assessed as follows:
- Has the structured data claim added been already removed → no action needed
- Has the user opted out of this process or was automatically opted out (as per below) → no action needed
- Is the claim still existing → claim will be removed
Opt-out
[edit]All users that had, as of December 2023, one of the following roles are automatically opted-out of this mass revert:
- Administrators
- Patrollers
- Rollbackers
