Community engagement

There are a couple of different ways to engage here, via the Talk page or participating in our survey and meet-up with the Commons Photographers’ User Group.

We’re planning to be at the GLAM Wiki Conference, in November, and would love to meet you if you’re coming.

We’ll also post regular updates here to let you know about our progress - we’re still deciding the right format for this, and we’re thinking we’ll have some community calls too - we’ll post the schedule for this here when it’s ready.

Here are the feature requests we’ve heard so far

For Flickr2Commons

• Clearer IDs of Flickr Foundation staff in wiki space
• A way to avoid License Laundering or “Flickr Washing”
• A way to blacklist bad actors
• A way to manage or block duplicates (Prevent Flickr2Commons from uploading duplicate files)

For Flickr.com

• Updating CC 2.0 licenses to CC 4.0
