English: The South Esk, Glen Clova. Taken around 10pm, just before darkness fell, between Atton and Whitehaugh. The river meanders through the flat bottom of the U-shaped valley of Glen Clova. There is significant undercutting of the river banks in this area. Above the forestry on the left is The Scorrie, in the centre are Craig Mellon and Cairn Broadlands and on the right Red Craig. |
