"The Rawlins Field Office area of the Wyoming Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is located in south central Wyoming. It contains approximately 11.2 million acres of land in Albany, Carbon, Laramie, and Sweetwater Counties. Within that area the Field Office administers approximately 3.4 million acres of public land surface and mineral estate, 1 million acres of public land surface without the mineral estate that is private or state owned and 1.2 million acres of federal mineral estate where the surface is private or state owned ...
