English: Catalog of the Spaces Exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, December 30, 1969 through March 1, 1970. The essay by Curator Jennifer Licht contextualizes the work of the five featured artists (Michael Asher, Larry Bell, Dan Flavin, Robert Morris, Pulsa, and Franz Erhard Walther) in the history of sculptural space in late modern art. Pulsa' proposes a multi-level viewer-interactive real-time feedback light-sound-heat environmental installation for MOMA's sculpture garden. The catalogue also includes Pulsa's statement, selected observations on nature and the man-made world, and photographs of recent works: Yale School of Art and Architecture Gallery, Boston Public Garden, Yale Golf Course, and the Wadsworth Atheneum, as well as a photograph of Pulsa's contribution to Spaces and a list of materials and equipment donors. The members of Pulsa are Michael Cain, Patrick Clancy, William Crosby, William Duesing, Paul Fuge, Peter Kindlmann, and David Rumsey. |
