Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Anterograde trafficking of HIV-1 cores during infection. HeLa cells transfected with a NUP358-GFP expressing BAF were synchronously infected with GIR labeled HIV-1 viral particles (MOI 0.3). 2 hours after infection, cells were imaged every 15 seconds for 10 minutes. Shown are individual z-planes showing a virus observed to traffic away from the nucleus and ultimately return to the area of the nuclear envelope during the acquisition period. The arrow in the first frame indicates the viral particle exhibiting the behavior described in the text.
