Europe 2002 - Circus
[edit]Europe CEPT edition from 8 April 2002. Theme was circus. Artists were Anna Katrina Olsen (age 13) and Sára Zachariasardóttir (age 13). All school kids on the Faroes were invited to draw a stamp and 1,137 drawings were entered into the competition. These are the winners, voted in a ballot by the Faroese people:

Løgting 150 Years
[edit]1852 the Løgting was reestablished by the Danish authorities. Actually, it dates back to 900 or at least 970. Date of issue: 17 June 2002. Artist was a clerk of the Philatelic Office: Kári Holm Olsen

ICES 100 Years
[edit]The 100th anniversary of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) was celebrated by the postal administrations of Greenland, the Faroes and Denmark with a joined stamp edition. Artist was Martin Mörck, date of issue 23 September 2002.
