@Jeff G.: I'm not going to edit war over this minor change, so let's discuss. You are correct that Wikimedia Commons is not Wikipedia; however, that doesn't mean we can't borrow good things from Wikipedia's MOS, like their accessibility MOS. Commons is not only accessed via major web browsers like Firefox. There are also command-line browsers (like Lynx) and screen readers. I'm trying to make the lists consistent so that the HTML produced by the parser becomes as correct as possible, leading to better accessibility. You're wrong that signatures are not and cannot be a part of a list, because if they are not, voting pages will look very messy. I ask that you revert back to my change, as it's harmless, actually improves accessibility, and is consistent with other discussion pages. Thanks, pandakekok9 03:42, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Pandakekok9: What if we were to switch to colons instead of bullets?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 03:50, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's a compromise I can take. But I have a better solution that makes more sense (since your solution seems to just unnecessarily indent even though there's no previous message): what about we remove the bullets, add a line break between the end of "User:" and "Reasons for reporting:" and bold the two instead? Then I can insert back the line break between the end of the reason parameter and the signature. That way, list consistency is still achieved and people are free to use colons for indenting instead of bullets. Sounds good to you? pandakekok9 03:59, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Pandakekok9: Where would the sig go in that scenario?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 04:04, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeff G.: See User:Pandakekok9/sandbox. pandakekok9 04:58, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Pandakekok9: Ok, but since we're here, how about changing to a singular "Reason" for reporting?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 05:05, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I will do that. Glad we're able to agree on this. :) Thanks, pandakekok9 05:07, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Preview of new report looks ok. pandakekok9 05:11, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
