ABOUT THE CONTEST

Wiki Loves Monuments Pakistan is an upcoming photography competition around cultural heritage monuments, as part of an international photographic competition Wiki Loves Monuments. The goal of the contest is to gather freely usable photos of cultural heritage sites from Pakistan and highlight the heritage sites of Pakistan. To achieve that, an international contest will take place in September 2013. This will be the first time Pakistan is taking part in the international competition. The Pakistani part of the competition is volunteer-led, with significant support from Wikipedian community in Pakistan. Pakistan is no longer a participating country in Wiki Loves Monuments.

Clicking on any of the 7 regions (Azad Kashmir, Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, ICT , Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab) in the map on right will take you to the official list of the monuments with relevant details. Only the photos of sites on the lists are eligible for the competition.
