Cystadleuaeth gyhoeddus I ffotograffwyr ydy Cystadleuaeth Rijksmonument (Wiki Loves Monuments) sy’n canolbwyntio ar henebion diwylliannol, ac sy’n cael ei gweithredu gan siapteri a grwpiau Wicimedia. Yn 2010 fe’i sefydlwyd gan Wikimedia’r Iseldiroedd ond fel caseg eira ymunodd nifer o wledydd drwy Ewrop a throdd Cystadleuaeth Rijksmonument yn gystadleuaeth fyd-eang a hynny mewn gwledydd reit wahanol: Canada, Chile, India, Panama, Ghana, Pilipinas, Rwsia, De Affrica ac Unol Daleithiau’r America.
Wiki Loves Monuments is organized in a federative manner, which means the organization depends on volunteers in each country. Enthusiastic local teams get in contact with heritage organizations and authorities, create monuments lists in Wikipedia, contact partners and sponsors, and motivate the general public to participate.
