מסובך, מסורבל, לא ברור, וחבל

undesirable rotations

While uploading the wizard sometimes spontaneously rotates pictures which are already in portrait format. This seems to take some extra time, producing an unusable result... This behaviour is not consistent: it does not occur with all protrait images and if I keep retrying an upload without rotation is possible. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? Examples? Most likely these images have been rotated by you using an improper program that doesn't remove the rotation tag from the image's Exif data. Windoze image viewer and some version from Apple are known for this.--Denniss (talk) 10:30, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

Hochladen von Fotos per 5.10.14 - 24:00

Kann es sein, dass die Hochladezeit nicht auf Sommerzeit gestellt ist und tatsächlich ab 23:00 nicht mehr möglich war. 48 Fotos die ich bereits geladen hatte und um 23:00 noch umbenennen musste, wurden mit geänderter Bezeichnung ab 23:00 h nicht mehr geladen und meine Arbeit war umsonst. You'll need to be a bit more specific, Mersina: What exactly were the titles that were refused (we need at least some examples) and what was the error message you got from that (if any). --El Grafo (talk) 17:47, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

I think THIS is PD, as the facts are not copyrightable, and the rest does not meet the Threshold of originality (see here and ) but the wizard is of no help WRT how to upload it and tag it appropriately. Elvey (talk) 18:50, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

choix de la licence

à partir du 2ème téléchargement, le wizard ne reconnaît plus automatiquement le choix pré-programmé de CC-0, et les images se retrouvent sous la licence CC-by-SA-4.0. Et impossible d'accéder au report de bogue... Jebulon (talk) 14:25, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

Unwanted characters

I'm having problems while uploading some sound files (.ogg) with Upload Wizard. After adding the descriptions, cats, etc, i receive the message "Este título contém alguns caracteres indesejáveis. Remova-os, por favor." (en: "This title has some unwanted characters. Please remove them."). The files are named "Eo-dek", "Eo-deka", "Eo-dekaj", "Eo-dekajn", "Eo-dekan" and the message is displayed in all of them. I could upload "Eo-dudek" using Upload Wizard in the same computer (Win8+Opera 25.0). Where could be the problem? CasteloBranco^diskuto 16:38, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

Also in Firefox 33.0 and Chrome 35.0.1916.114. Same files, same titles, same description and same error. Please help me, i have hundreds of files to upload, i need a tool to upload them (i'd take months to upload them one by one). Thanks in advance. CasteloBranco^diskuto 17:03, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

That probably means that at least one of your filenames contains one of these characters (mostly invisible characters). —LX (talk, contribs) 18:18, 21 October 2014 (UTC)

I followed your tip (some messages above) and tried VicuñaUploader and there was no issues related to these same files and filenames. I will keep using Vicuña for now on, but it would be great if someone fix this bug in Upload Wizard, as it seems to be happening with other people. Thanks. Upload failure

Hi, I am Pronacampo9 - I tried to upload a graph in PDF yesterday, on the main Upload Wizard, but failed. I converted the PDF into jpg and png format, but these, too, fail to upload.
