  • Unless @Krd: has data from the previous check, the master (last edit 3 February 2013) and most recent listed sock (last edit 10 October 2022) would be Stale; there would be nothing to which to compare Posirom. (It's unclear whether there had been a CU on fi.wiki, but note for the future that, if there had been, CU results are valid across projects for SUL accounts.) Reason: Like WPK~commonswiki, Ilj-ML has made controversial edits to Finnish heraldry files. For example here, Ilj-ML and other sockpuppets of WPK have been doing this for a long time. The other sockpuppet, Sallapland, has only made this edit, in which he supports a deletion request started by Ilj-ML. On the Finnish Wikipedia, WPK is known to have an interest in Salla, and both Ilj-ML and Sallapland have been blocked as sockpuppets there. Paranaja (talk) 21:46, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Declined - Per COM:RFCU, "Checkuser is a last resort for difficult cases; pursue other options first." Bflagge is already blocked as a sock on a sister project and, as no evidence was provided here, the implication would seem to be the editing patterns are so obvious as not to have warranted it (i.e., a duck, which is, indeed, a "request declined" indicator.) Reason: Zone time has been making unsupported changes to existing geographical, biogeographical and linguistic areas on several maps of Finland, exactly as WPK has been doing in the past. One example of this type of action is that he has multiple times moved the municipality of Kuhmoinen from the province of Central Finland to the province of Pirkanmaa, which, according to the Local and Regional Government Finland, is simply not correct [1]. If someone makes different maps than someone else (or edits the old maps), it does not mean that someone is the same than someone else. User:SokoWiki has the same modus operandi (uploading his files on top of existing files, the same topics that interest him, the same problems that are discussed on his talk page). Although I don't read Finnish, using Google Translate I see no indication that either account has been blocked at WP:FI. If we're going to rely on a sock identification from another project, I would expect that project to have taken the lead in blocking at least the sock. .     Jim . . . . Well, I'm confused. SokoWiki was blocked for the first time at 14:34 today -- so how did you know he would be blocked when you wrote the message above at 13:57? Dear God! SokoWiki was blocked 11:34 UTC, which is 14:34 Finnish time. Commons uses the UTC time, so he was blocked over 2 hours before I wrote here. Secondly, WPK is blocked here despite his not having a notice on his talk page. The blocking administrator has not done their job according to Commons standards when they did not leave a block notice. All this is beside the point: both accounts are blocked on fi-wiki by now, SokoWiki has engaged in edit-wars over images and his actions are similar to WPK's. Hi guys. There was an investigation on SokoWiki on fi.wp yesterday. WPK is of course long since stale on fi.wp, but they continuously evade their block through IPs and some of our administrators have learned to pick up on the user's MO the moment they show up with a new IP. I ran a check against some of their latest IP edits and found a possible/likely match between SokoWiki and WPK. Feel free to ping me by email if you need the details. Combined with the behavioural evidence SokoWiki was deemed a sockpuppet of WPK and indefinitely blocked. As a side note, the blocking admin is very familiar with WPK since years now [2] and even without the technical match I'd certainly trust their judgment when it comes to this user.
