I have been an user on en.wiki since Nov 2005 and an admin there since Feb 2007, where I have over 41300 edits. I have just over 600 edits in WikiCommons and have uploaded 116 images here. My username is the same on all my various wikis I use (en, commons, source, etc). I have uploaded 3578 images on my Flickr account. On Commons, I have also worked on organizing categories and tagged several copyright violations for deletion, when I see them. The areas I'd like to start working on as an admin on Commons is the backlog of image deletions, which seems perpetual, and deleting and renaming categories when that is requested. Then I'll branch out, similar to the way I began as an admin on en.wiki. My admin work on en.wiki has covered many areas, such as vandals, edit wars, images, 3RR, sock puppets (where I am currently most active as an admin), afds, etc. I am also the lead coordinator of a project on en.wiki. I have a good knowledge of image/copyright policy and in all my admin work, if I am unsure of something, I defer to someone more knowledgeable in that area or research it until I am sure. I hope that I can soon also help other users here as an admin. While I do not speak them well enough to translate--except a little in German, I do know some German, Russian, Japanese, and Thai.Rlevse 23:20, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

- Support - Deleted edits show good deletion tagging and whatnot, decent understanding of policy, and I'm sure he'll ask someone if he has any problems. Giggy\Talk 00:21, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Neutral for now. Insufficient interaction on user talk pages and little in Commons: mainspace either (no suggestion that you would not be a competent admin) --Herby talk thyme 08:05, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose — per Herby. You haven't shown much interaction with the Community here. --Boricuæddie 16:08, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Support — Rlevse is an active administrator in en-Wikipedia. He has demonstrated very strong commitment to the project and the project community, first as an editor, then as a WikiProject leader, and then as and administrator. His interactions with the community have been sound. I have no doubt that he will be an able administrator on the Commons and will build his interactions with the Commons Community. His strong organizational skills and knowledge and application of policy and process will serve the community well. ERcheck 15:53, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Support A project in as much of a mess as Commons should be welcoming in any and all trusted and experienced users to help with the endless copyright violations and other essential work on the project. Nick 17:39, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think I find the use of the phrase A project in as much of a mess as Commons less than heartening. There is always work to do but Commons is no more of a "mess" here than many other Wikis --Herby talk thyme 17:45, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- If there's always work to do, stop faffing about finding reasons to stop experienced users from helping out, and let us do all that we can. Nick 19:41, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, well said Nick. 82.31.11.207 21:18, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

- Do you see any disruption ? Unless of course you're talking about failing to Support experienced and trustworthy candidates, which I would agree is disrupting the project to prove some sort of point. Nick 13:18, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

- Support — I know Rlevse quite well from English Wikipedia, and I have no doubt, that despite a lower edit count here, he is well up on policy, and anything new he would seek out those more experienced, to ask for advice prior to action. He is a superb administrator on en.Wikipedia, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I truly have no doubts that he would be a fine addition to the current administrative team here. - Comment In practice you list interests in 3RR and sock puppetry. I take it you are aware that Commons does not have a 3RR policy? Equally puppetry here is pretty rare and I would not wish to see any aspect of en wp's approach imported to Commons which fortunately remains a nice place to edit. Just a thought that occurred to me. --Herby talk thyme 09:02, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I know, I was just trying to indicate my background. I do understand that Commons has many differences from en.wiki, one being that it is much more peaceful here.Rlevse 11:50, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
