So far my work on Commons was adding to and organizing category:History of Poland and many other categories, tweaking templates, renaming images, operating user:JarektBot, removing watermarks, moving images from Polish and English Wikis and monitoring 5k+ page watchlist. I made 20k edits and my bot 25k in 2 years on Commons. I was thinking about trying some admin tasks as well. Jarekt (talk) 02:13, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Comment - I admit that I have never been involved much in dr's and copyvio tagging, and I did not think it was a prerequisite. My interests (at the moment) are more in the edit the interface and other protected pages end of the spectrum of admin's tasks. --Jarekt (talk) 12:27, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

- I am not sure what unknown pictures but I suspect you might be referring to practice of marking images with no proper source with {{No source since}} template and deleting it within 7 days. I think it is a good way to handle in semi-automatic way many noncontroversial cases that might otherwise clog regular DR channels. I did notice that sometimes {{No source since}} was applied to images which should have been handled by issuing DR, and as a result users did not know where to write their comments. In the old days when CategoryWatch was still functional I was monitoring new additions to Category:PD Polish and wrote Template:PD-Polish source template as a version of {{No source since}} template specific to Category:PD Polish license. --Jarekt (talk) 02:11, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
