- Oppose The paintjob is shoddy and uninteresting, it just looks messy. The DoF is too shallow, leaving the mouth and eyes out of focus. --Cart (talk) 10:00, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose I quite like the paint, but the DoF is a problem, given the zoom level.--Peulle (talk) 10:02, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- @W.carter and Peulle: The short DoF is a feature. This is how good portraits are made. Yann (talk) 13:07, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- This is of course true in normal portrait photos, but here the face is tilted and the angle makes f/3.2 just a bit short. Stepping up to f/4.0 would not have been going too far. However, the DoF is not my only objection to this photo so my 'o' remains. --Cart (talk) 14:45, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Cart: The eyes are in focus, and that's what is important. Regards, Yann (talk) 15:43, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- IMHO the focus is on the nose and the ring finger, Poco2 17:17, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose Per Cart. Messy paintjob with garish colors and DoF too short -- Basile Morin (talk) 15:46, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per Cart. Even at thumb size the blurred area at bottom left is distracting. Daniel Case (talk) 18:06, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose also per Cart. --Granada (talk) 18:26, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose The focus should be on the eyes which is not the case here. --Code (talk) 19:18, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
