   Comment The issue is the film is 4:3, and that file has black bars on the side. I would  Support that file over this if that cropping was corrected. Additionally, this file looks good as is. SDudley (talk) 00:30, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

•  Support This is a wonderful film! It entered the American public domain in 1968 when its copyright was not renewed. And it enjoyed full PD status for a time. However, a court case in 1992 stated that as a derivative work of something still under copyright that the film too was restricted. The copyright on that work expired on January 1, 2024, so this film was finally able to be uploaded again. -- SDudley (talk) 00:28, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
